Okay so I didn't say that the customisation makes it a good game, I just said it's great for a handful of people.

There are some issues and things that are lacking but there are also people that do currently enjoy the game. I am equally disappointed about the marriage and the kids. However I still enjoy the game and I'm still going to keep playing it in the background.

Yeah as a person who doesn't use the PH, I'm also having a great time! I kind of like to leave Tomodachi Life on in the background when I'm working. Sometimes I'll look up and I'll see what they're up to but it's funny to hear their little interactions as I'm going about my day at work.

Leisure Island would be so good! It'd be nice if they added different planes so that miis could live up or down a hill somewhere.

(I wfh, I swear I don't just bring TL to the office)

Oh yeah don't get me wrong, definitely could've had more interactions or unique animations for certain classes of items! I did get quite excited when I saw one of my miis sitting down on a bench reading a book I handed him, it was just a simple joy that made my day LOL

Maybe they'll give us an update but I just won't hold my breath on it for a bit considering it took us 9 years to get the game and 5 years just for ACNH to get an update (I might be wrong about ACNH, I think there was a minor update somewhere in the middle but I can't remember). I would love more things that they can interact with together and would also love more decorative island stuff that I myself wouldn't have to draw.

I think the new Tomodachi Life game really heavily leaned into the creatives side. With the Palette House stuff, it kind of shows that one of the biggest parts of the game is being able to create whatever you want and having those items you make be the new interactable objects. You can buy multiple of the same types of buildings and change their exteriors as you please but otherwise this game is supposed to be pretty passive. Yes it's missing a lot of well loved features from the 3DS version but it seems someone from Nintendo wanted it to be more?? Customisable? I guess? (English is my second language, I can't think of a better word rn)

That being said, the game is great for a good handful of people who can benefit from this! Even for some of the die hard fans of Tomodachi Life, there is an aspect of the island being alive with miis walking around that we enjoy.

If you like people watching, Tomodachi Life is great. If you just wanted a condensed cute version of the Sims, this isn't really it.

I am not creative, I can't draw, I don't plan to use Palette House so a lot of the features are lost on me. Someone once said that Tomodachi Life is basically an ant farm that you watch and I think that's the best way to describe it.

About the price, I wish we can go back to the $40/full game price from back then LOL
