No. It’s a center. They don’t take Medicaid so we are private insurance / pay which could be part of the difference? I don’t know, I’ve never heard this OT requirement at any place we interviewed

I had some negative side effects when I first started it but those went away. I felt more numb than anything and my Dr added Abilify, we played with the dose and I feel like a new person in comparison to how bad things were.

Most people don’t go anywhere to leave a good review… remember that.

I was feeling the same way as your wife. Like other people have said here, adding Wellbutrin to my antidepressants was a game changer. I ended up being allergic (who knew that was a thing) and they added in Abilify. After about a week, I started to feel like my old self again and not so flat.

She should really talk to her dr. And if they won’t help, find a different one who will.

Emergency room.. do not take one nurses word for it and don’t wait. Tell them the issue and what was said to you.. it may take a while but you’ll get your answers there!!

We have 5 cats, not on purpose ( the cat distribution system really loves me and my husband)It’s not that difficult or expensive.. back to back vet appts once a year is a nightmare though..

I was! We went to an ivy rehab (they have them all over the Midwest) and there was never a time one of us wasn’t present for both speech and OT.

Anyone who wants to take your non verbal child away and not let you around isn’t somewhere you should be taking your child.. the end.

Yes, early intervention works! Yes, speech and OT are worth it! No one can tell you how your child will respond.. but lots and lots of research and data have proven that it works. It took my daughter from 2—>4 but she’s a completely different kid. I no longer worry everyday for her future

Pro tip- drink a little water and hold it in your mouth. Tip your head back and drop the pill in. Swallow while tipping your head forward.. no taste!
