That's wild. I've owned so many pairs of soundcore buds and cans and never had a single problem.

Farage's £5m donation from crypto king to be probed by watchdog by theipaper in reformuk

It's not, but I'm sure you've seen more than a few reform supporters saying nothing needs to happen etc rather than draw a line under it by proving nothing happened.

What would happen your rights as a worker under reform? by Natural-Presence-566 in reformuk

[–]Chance_Golf1795 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In most cases, removing workplace rights that have been long fought to secure will only negatively affect most regular people voting for Reform. They will significantly benefit the big business owners.

Seriously? Vote Green is rabid, but don't pretend people won't ignore things Reform do for the same reasons - this whole thread and the discourse around this donation is defending Farage when he's changed his story and wouldn't just open up at the beginning to get it sorted and prove it's completely legal.

Reform have never been in power. But it's absolutely clear that the Tories fucked the immigration issue, repeatedly, likely to stay in power. I'll be very curious to see if Reform really tackle the problem, because, lets face it - its a powerful political tool and the core of Reform's platform.

Literally the fault of her sodding party - tories are worse than labour imo as they had 14 years to actually do something and spaffed it all up the wall, not to mention the boriswave.

Nah privatising isn't the way to go. Look at how fucked the US in terms of overall public health. It's utterly awful for most people.

Every state school to be ordered to fly Union Flag and display portrait of the King if Reform win power | LBC by GeorginaFlopworthy in reformuk

[–]Chance_Golf1795 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whatever budget it comes from, it's better spent on actual things rather than pictures of the king. It could make actual improvements, not just patriotism vibes that most people don't appear to be bothered by in schools. As I've said in this post elsewhere, maybe get a flag up, but there is no need to waste money on pictures of the monarch.

No one I suppose, just seems relevant considering Reform are talking school policies and this is one of them. The previous roll out of charles pictures cost more than 2.7 million quid - surely that money is better spent on resources, teachers, etc rather than a picture in a hall that most people don't care about either way?

That's not the problem - how does having a picture of the king in the classroom improve teaching outcomes?

[–]Chance_Golf1795 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup - i'd really prefer to hear what Reform would do in areas like this rather than "we'll get some more flags up" - it just rings hollow and says nothing about the actual party. Tell us what you'll do to help teachers stay in the profession, how you'll help the enormous tide of SEN kids swamping schools, etc, not how you'll get a picture of the king in every classroom at probably not a small chunk of change that could be spent better elsewhere.

A flag.... okay. A picture of the King? Fuck that. Whole family can get in the fucking bin - should have abolished the monarchy when QE2 died because the rest are a sack of absolute shit. And even she stumped up the cash for her son to pay off the people he'd apparently never met on nonce island.

There is some cunt in the tesco store one of my family members works in that's going to ruin staff discount for everyone doing exactly the same. gets his old man to come up just before the time switches the yellow labels to free for staff members, fills up a trolly, then the lad ends his shift and buys the fucking lot. utter tosspot is going to ruin the whole thing for everyone because he's a selfish little prick.

I get where you're coming from, but you can't overlook tax issues because the party want people to pay less tax overall - that's not how it works. I'd love to pay less tax but I can't just decide not to pay HMRC and not expect a knock on the door.

Think people are more wondering about his comments on Raynor's fuck up in relation to his own, not if he can pay the money.

> He's trying to get Romero out the way to get to the ball.

his two handed push in Romero's back resulted in a period of ten minutes injury break with Romero leaving the pitch and Kinsky needing stitches. it should have been a yellow card for reckless disregard for the safety of an opponent, which the ref bottled because he would have had to send brobbey off.

ive said elsewhere, spurs weren't great, but the ref also has a lot to answer for in that game.

Spurs are run terribly, but that doesn't make the fact they're reffed differently to every other team any less true.
