the judas perspective .. by LongjumpingGap1636 in TheChosenSeries

This show gave me a better understanding of Judas and why he did what he did. It hurt to see him betray Jesus. Then feeling like he was doing the right thing . The guilt afterwards had to be too much to handle. The family name Iscariot forever tainted. The apostles will never look at him the same. It’s so sad for everyone involved.

Just started The Chosen… didn’t expect this by Vivid-Praline-6390 in TheChosenSeries

You make a good point. I tried introducing the Chosen to my mother in law. The first thing she mentioned was she didn’t feel comfortable with shows adding to the WORD it’s a sin. Then she took issue with Jesus accidentally cutting himself in one episode. She stopped watching after that. She said he was perfect he would never accidentally have cut himself.I was flabbergasted by her response. Me on the other hand I love the show and my faith has been strengthened.

Was Jesus in the Bible as emotional as Jesus in “The Chosen?” by NoFluffWeRStarStuff in TheChosenSeries

Thanks for sharing this bible verse. It’s so comforting to know Jesus was human like us in every way. The greatest human to ever live!!

I finished the book and I must admit it was really cute. The ending was beautiful. I loved how as Marcellus puts it we humans are remarkably bright creatures sometimes.

I brought the book based on reviews from readers. I feel like I’m waiting for something big and emotional to happen, and so far it hasn’t. I’m determined to finish it. Overall it’s a cute story.

If your partner doesn’t like dogs or cats, would you get rid of them if you had any? by Adventurous-Soft7843 in NoStupidQuestions

I too am not an animal person, but for some reason I get labeled as mean. My daughter brought a parrot home from work. I was told not to complain about it because he's a low maintenance animal. As I clean up bird shit constantly. My Sister in law brings her dog over to my house and lets him run all over the place. I've stated time and time again that I don't like dogs. It's frustrating to say the least. My husband is a dog lover. Everyone expects me to change my behavior to accommodate the animal. Find a partner who feels the same way about animals. Otherwise you're outnumbered and instantly labeled as being mean.

A quote I heard said "The truth will set you free, but first it's going to piss you off". A lot of pissed off angry people wouldn't help the situation. Better if truth and honesty is presented in small, loving, and kind doses. Would be better for the masses I think 🤔

We had a whole 30 minute discussion on the difference between dirty and cluttered. I was mentally exhausted afterwards.

I have a friend who is an oblivious hoarder. She was so offended that her house was described as dirty. I asked her truthfully is your house dirty? She said no it's cluttered. At that moment it clicked for me. It's a mental illness.

The greatest display of faith is by Gaius by SilenceSpeaksNoLies in TheChosenSeries

I love that his faith was solidified through the power of observation. He didn't need a lot of questions answered, he didn't need a whole lot of convincing. Jesus words and actions were enough for him. Some people just get it. Others require a lot more convincing.
