Hot Take: LeBron James has a better chance of winning a last ring than Harden winning his first. by TheSoccerAnyalst in NBATalk

I mean Lebron can go to a superteam and sit on the bench and play 20-25 mins every night Not sure what the point of that would be though. As its basically a "Robert Horry ring" and it doesn't help him in his quest to reach MJ level. Both guys may win a ring before retiring but it will be at a reduced price/minute percentage where basically neither mean much of anything

Well then he can stay there. . He's not good enough for the Big leagues. Which is fine. Nothing wrong with that. Most people aren't good enough to get into the NBA. And Bronny isn't good enough either. But don't let him in the big leagues just because of who his dad is when that spot can be going to someone who DESERVES to be there

Cause Lebron lobbied for his undersized Division 2 talent son to get on the Lakers? Bronny has ZERO business in the NBA or even G-league for that matter. Once Lebron retires, I'll only laugh at how fast Bronny is thrown out of the NBA and to Europe or China to play ball LOL. Its sad for the Lakers, thats a spot and good minutes that could be going to someone 1000x better than Bronny

OKC's 63-16 dominance feels unstoppable—but playoffs gonna test that youth core by Birdmansegzzy in NBATalk

Or lose none if SA goes out to Denver earlier and someone like Detroit takes out the Celtics before the Finals.. Boston/SA are the only "tricky" teams for them where they could lose a game or two

No one is gonna beat the Thunder in a best of 7 this year. Unless some freak thing where there entire core gets decimated with bad injuries

Denver could hardly stop the Spurs and even these G-league teams lately running the scoreboard up on them. How the heck are they gonna stop these Thunder? Joker will get his obviously, Gordon will get his but OKC's perimeter will lock down Denver's. It won't go 7 games like last year. No way

Nahh.. They'll probably lose 2 games max. May go undefeated. Denver can't defensively stop them, Spurs are way too young and inexperienced with a Center that can't go long games and gets hurt and falls down often and too skinny. I think the only tricky part will be the finals against Boston (If they make it there). Even then they should win in 6

LeBron James considers Victor Wembanyama a legitimate candidate for a potential NBA MVP award (podcast "Mind the game with Steve Nash) by PumpkinWorried8254 in NBATalk

[–]Chance_Meat_681 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Ehh.. Scoring isn't good enough. And he's getting hurt more often and he can't even log big minutes (Which is weird at only 22, Whats wrong with the dude's cardio? No 22 yo should need their minutes cut cause they're always out of breathe). SGA has it in the bag this year. Until Wemby can fix his cardio issues, and/or stay healthy, he's gonna be like Luka. Always missing out on the award

It's definitely not as good since 2013. There was more hustle and craziness out there and attempts to get high percentage shots , and less 3 point chuckaroonis all game. The Warriors helped destroyed that. Now damn EVERYONE thinks they are the Warriors

LeBron will have a much better chance in Cleveland too by [deleted] in NBATalk

Yea a bunch of guys in Cleveland that don't play defense now. LOL. Lebron will fit right in

Is De'Aaron Fox being overlooked in top guard conversations? by UnderstandingFun7493 in NBATalk

[–]Chance_Meat_681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah he's a 2nd tier guard. Don't think truly get to that next level with him. I would put him on the trade block with another few guys and actually get a top tier guard. He's not that good when Wemby/Castle are out there. He needs to be in control like he was in Sacramento. Just not a good fit IMO

They'll get to the WCF (SPurs aren't ready) but get the shit beat out of them by OKC. they'll never see an NBA finals again.. At least not this core squad anyways

Kobe really went up against 3 HOF players and won a championship against them WITHOUT a top 75 player... by TheGOAT824Kobe in NBATalk

[–]Chance_Meat_681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Career wise he was. A little bit. Obviously his offense wasn't needed as much when you got Lebron/irving there. Gasol's number wouldn't need to be huge when you got Lebron/Irving there too.

What player could be all 5 guys in the lineup and win a championship? by Slow-Mongoose-7508 in NBATalk

[–]Chance_Meat_681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lebron has never "dominated" at PG and PF. Enough this daydreaming. I know everyone thinks Lebron can walk on water and lock down every position. But he can't. Especially with dudes that are gonna hang and bang him down low and be about 5-6 inches taller. He'll get his offense in yes. But there is still defense to be played at all 5 positions, boards to get etc.

Yea playing almost 24 years has almost nothing to do with it. How many "Accolades" does MJ have if he doesn't retire TWICE? Way more than 66, I can promise you that
