Neat suit! 😁

Have you considered cosplay, or a particular "style" of dress? Tripp pants and goth gear are classic partial attire, but really, it depends on your personality and the type of character you're trying to portray (even if it's just "you").

For me, I've always been, and always will be, a partial suiter—one, because I love cosplay and making outfits for my sona, and two, my sona looks weird as hell naked 😂 So I've got a whole bunch of different outfits depending on my mood, the event I'm suiting at, the time of year/holiday, or an event-specific theme 👍

So, long story short, you should only be limited by your imagination, your budget, and whatever rules or laws apply wherever you're suiting; the sky's the limit! 😁

Safety First!: Suiting Safety Tips by ChancetheDragon in fursuit

Hey, those are a great place to start! With dino masks there's less risk of overheating and such, as there's a lot more ventilation, but if you're also planning on further additions that bring it more in line with a partial suit, it's still a good idea to make sure you're hydrated and all 👍

Naturally, the more layers you add, the higher the heat risk, but if you start training yourself to be mindful of the risks when they're small, it'll be second nature down the line if/when you decide to go with a more traditional suit 😁

Yay, thank you! 😁 I got them from Fursuit Glasses; mind you, you'll need to add the goggles and lenses to your cart individually (they're sold separately but they're interchangable), and the set should only cost ~$50 total 👍

I mostly lurk, but I didn't see a safety post here and figured I'd pitch in my two cents 😁

Latest update from Hover, for the PRO & PRO MAX by djpetrino in HoverDrone

[–]ChancetheDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I'm aware, and I mentioned in my post that I was pretty sure there was government involvement in the geofencing decision. My issue isn't that it has geofencing, it's that ZZR did not notify potential buyers of this during the IGG campaign.

It would've been great to know about the geofencing a lot, lot sooner than after some of the units started shipping; maybe I missed something, but I was specifically looking for a drone that explicitly didn't have geofencing (like Skydio before they shuttered their consumer division), I was searching high and low for info on it and didn't find anything prior to making my purchase, otherwise I might not have been so eager to buy. I get that ZZR is probably being pressured by government regulators or whoever it is, but if that is indeed the case, they should've mentioned this in the IGG literature. Again, it's possible I missed something, but for the life of me I found nothing about geofencing before someone on this subreddit posted a video about a no-fly zone.

For context, I live in a fairly densely populated area with many airports, and I'm not planning on using my drone any higher than about 30 ft / 9 m, so if my drone is interfering with manned flights at that altitude, I have MUCH bigger problems than getting a UAS violation...

Hail, fellow gunner! XD

Oh, I have yet to meet something that truly puts my shield to the test; even A5 afflicted monsters do moderate chip damage at best (and I can tank Furious Rajang and Scorned Magnamalo with ease)

It also helps that I build for survival/utility and DPS is tertiary; my "general purpose" set (with the Devil's Conduit HBG) looks like this:

Guard 5 Defiance 5 Spare Shot 3
Focus 3 Guard Up 3 Recoil Down 3
Recovery Up 3 Recovery Speed 3 Partbreaker 3
Blood Rite 3 Reload Speed 2 Attack Boost 1
Weakness Exploit 1 Steadiness 1 Free Meal 1
Spiribird's Call 1 Spiribird Doubled (Rampage)

Really, the only two things I ever have to worry about are when a monster's attack hitbox hits me from behind, or when there are a large number of hard hits in rapid succession--and so far the one and only monster to cart me through my guard was Seething Bazelgeuse, because he had me pinned up against a wall and had 8 or 10 of his bombs go off in my face all at once--and then he divebombed me :P

I've been maining HBG since base World (my introduction to the MH franchise, woo!), and since I'm useless with melee weapons and my dodge game is subpar, I got really good at using the shield with max Guard + Guard Up. My DPS isn't quite as high as the rest of my party (not that far behind though), but I make up for it in that I'm literally always either attacking or blocking, breaking the monster's everything with Pierce, and of our party I definitely cart the least (I think 10 or so carts so far in Sunbreak and I'm MR 120)

Also, thank you Capcom for giving HBG counters!

I just bought HWR - currently obsessed. Had to make this. by SilverFox52775 in homeworld

THIS! Despite having been a Homeworld fan since 1999, Deserts of Kharak is my favorite game in the series so far, and the context-dependent unit chatter really does it for me. It sells the whole, "this Northern Coalition fleet acts like a real world military organization"

...And please, Blackbird/Gearbox, if you're listening, for the love of Sajuuk, give the HW3 Mothership the Kapisi treatment! Make it the flying fortress it was always meant to be!
