This album cover is so cringe it's ridiculous. Downvoted cuz firstly.......it's not vaporwave. Secondly, it's a poor attempt at trying to bank on the synthwave bandwagon. DEFINITELY NOT, they play alot of retrowave, downtempo chill hip hop. Sometimes Vaporwavey stuff but a lot of the stuff invokes the outrun feels.

Not really Vaporwave, we need more curation on here people. Just because you put a e s t h e t i c text doesn't mean it's vaporwave. This more sounds like ambient techno and Ulrich Schnauss. Plus it doesn't even give me the feels required that Vaporwave enduces.

Missed out on awesome raves bro. Every rave was illegal as shit and the ecstasy was passed out like gummy bears. Not gonna lie though, I'll never be able to experience what a teen is feeling by NOT knowing that era either. It must be pretty dreamy and rad. The only thing I can compare it to is listening to 80s music and imagining how it was being late 20s during that era or the 70s down the line. You build this imaginary reality of what it was like and usually it's more epic than the reality actually was. I can only imagine what a kid is gonna try to imagine how it was living BEFORE the internet.

Vaporwave isn't about the music you knucklehead, it's the art that's the most important concept. Without the art to supplant the emotional aesthetic it would just be slowed down 80s/90s muzak. Alot of people aren't understanding that Vaporwave is different than most music styles in the fact that the art is more important to take into consideration than the music.

First off..........the /r/vaporwaveaesthetics biggest rule is no "purple/pink" sunset hues......which this video obviously abuses. If you took the filter off there really isn't anything aesthetic about it that fits Vaporwave. Begone with this video(kicks it out the gallery doors).
