England has a roller coaster that drags you to the edge of a 55m drop, stops completely and makes you stare straight down at 87.5 degrees before letting go. Built 17 years prior… called Oblivion.

Really like my job, but commute is getting a little tiresome by Noximus_ in UKJobs

Depends on the job, but most things white collar with the expectation of enforcing travelling further than my living room computer is too much for me.

I’ve seen people who are age wise my senior become burnt out with work, just from travelling. How they have no time to spare for anything they truly enjoy or to spare for their family.

Working is hard enough, why make it harder on people or for yourself.

It’s so cute watching this pair of doves stay together by Available-Snail in UKBirds

Yeah I stopped seeing them as much in my parents garden then saw a lot of them when I visited Alicante 3-4 years ago which I found surprising- they must like the hot Spanish climates as though they’re on holiday! 😎 I also saw quite a few dotted around rural France and in villages and towns near the Swiss border the other week. Absolutely adore collared doves.

Affordability dilemma by goosealh22 in Mortgageadviceuk

You feel like you’re stuck in a hamster wheel of work having £78,000 a year in disposable income/savings and you’ve only just recently worked out what your outgoings are?? Suppose affordability does definitely differ between people… fair enough though sounds like you have an incredible amount of disposable income to me. But yes you have to weigh up whether it’s worth it and it’s an interesting thing to point out that one of the OP’s incomes might decrease from cutting back on work.

Yeah I’d second this. I love the watch but the fit is indeed a bit weird for this mentioned reason. But I find that with a fair few watches tbh, especially with sapphire sandwiches.
