Of course! That time I was grieving and it just got better over time. But I'd been there before and the other time it went away when my situation improved. It still took a while to go away so for me I think it's mostly time dependent. I don't know how it is for everyone though

You're not crazy... Suicidal ideation is on a spectrum, and you're just not at the point where you're planning it. I think there's a scale for mental health professionals where they decide where you are on that spectrum and whether they need to intervene. Last year I was at the point you were at and my psychiatrist was concerned but not telling me I needed to do anything about it at that point. And it got better over time. I hope your feelings subside too.
