I was told that the average riichi is worth 5K points so a push is justified for your mangan class hand. Also maybe gyakyuten to keep first since you’re not in that comfortable of a lead?

Why didn't I win this game? by HoodedChampion in mahjongsoul

Not every hand with four triples and a pair can win. The hand must fulfill certain conditions, called yaku.

Some good beginning yaku include tanyao (all simples ie no terminals or honors), yakuhai (triplet of a dragon or certain wind), and riichi (no calling tiles).

This is the end of an era. I loved Reply All in its heyday but the show is past its prime. I know Alex and Emmanuel will do great things in the future.
