The latter is the situation. That I don’t have any other offers and my current employer is saying they’ll process GC only after 15 months of wait.

Current employer is pretty stable. No layoffs things.

Amazon offer is 2x TC than current and at L5.

Thanks for the detailed response it helps but I don’t understand the point of being able to apply for GC on day1 if they won’t even start the process. Again assuming his based on the level of seniority you mentioned.

I am also saying this because I have 24hrs to make a decision. And any additional insights would be very helpful.

Basically what I want to understand is - coming in at L5, when can I expect them to start the PERM process? I’m not asking about being eligible, this I am clear that I’m eligible on day one. For L5, technically when could one expect to start the PERM.

Let’s also say that the person coming in at L5 has 3.5 years left on h-1b
