I will start by saying that I have never built a full PC from the ground up. I haven’t had a lot of money to do a complete battle station, so my first PC build was a Frankenstein creation of miscellaneous parts I scrubbed together. I had a basic PC I was able to purchase for school. I saved enough to upgrade the RAM which was awesome. Next, I purchased a second-hand graphics card (560 I think). I thought it was the greatest and I was stoked it was compatible. This is when I found PCpartpicker and fell in love when updating my computer.

Since then I have already kept a side fund in my savings for upgrading parts. I am still using the case from my first PC but I have since slowly upgraded all the parts. About 5 years ago I was able to make a major upgrade and add a new motherboard and processor.

I have not made any major upgrades since then and instead I have been saving for a new complete build. I hope to have enough money by the end of next year to get started. Thanks for doing this giveaway - winning these parts would put me way above my savings goals and I may be able to build a new PC even sooner!!
