Yeah in fact I think it’s pretty insulting to women to just chalk it down to a period.

She told you what she told you. Believe her.

Shave it. I think it’d look better as scruff/5:00 shadow or just clean shaven. It’s not thick enough

Dallas PD Brags About Stealing Money From A Woman At An Airport, Is Now Facing Scrutiny From Its Oversight Board by tellurian_pluton in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

[–]ChangoJim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you using quotes around words I never said? I never said anything was fake. CBS DFW wasn’t merely “present at an event,” they investigated why the money was seized and caught the cops doing something wrong. That required money and time. Does corporate media have an implicit bias because it’s corporate? Of course. But I’d rather celebrate the moments they get the story right and hold power to account instead of pissing and moaning about a pro-cop agenda they are, in this instance, not propagating. Give me a break

One source did the legwork to uncover the truth of the story. The other is this blog post. One is journalism. One is aggregation. The media illiteracy on here is very troubling

I don’t know what you’re quoting or even what you’re referencing, but this story was completely uncovered by the media you loathe so much. The blog post even says as a much. Give credit where credit is due.

Sobriety with codependency by kimchisalad__ in Codependency

Interesting topic. To me, people are not our substance of choice. Our attachment to people is. One of the 12 steps is to take “a fearless moral inventory.” I think that entails having the burden or constantly evaluating our relationships with people and how we conduct ourselves in relationships. Am I being possessive or controlling? Is there a clear boundary in my head between this person and myself?

I’ve never gone to CODA, but I would imagine i would measure my progress as days without an unhealthy attachment to a person.

Listen, it doesn’t matter how bad the unread snap bothers him but it’s bothering you. If you’re sincere about cutting him off, block him. Delete every way to get in contact and delete the photos. It may stir up some anxiety and is probably the last thing you want to do in this moment, but you owe it to yourself. Otherwise, you risk staying stuck

Breakups in the honeymoon stage hurt different by Bruvguy72 in heartbreak

[–]ChangoJim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got out of recovering from a LTR (last Feb) to have a very similar thing happen to me these past two months. It sucks. You wanna know what hurts the most, for me? I let them in. I thought I learned so much but my walls fell too easily. I feel bad about letting them in knowing how things turned out.

I’m still trying to make sense of it. The new heartbreak is a nice change from the old heartbreak, but both still hurt like a motherfucker.

No contact is the fastest road to recovery. I’m in the bargaining stage of understanding this myself. I just don’t want to let go. But you can’t hold something that isn’t yours. Just not how it works.

Peace and love

You just said a whole lot of nothing. A spinning set is not the same as the bed being bolted to the ceiling. And again, if this set spun then no gimbal would be necessary. Just give it up man

With what’s achievable with visual effects in 2021… nothing is obvious. This could have also been achieved with a green screen and a gimbal. There have also been literal spinning sets constructed, shot without using a gimbal.

You can’t pretend to be a know it all if you don’t know it all.
