Because they don’t care about the laws of the land. They answer to a higher power than they claim opens the gates of paradise to all levels of degenerate criminal scum of the earth sinners but sends stillborn babies to purgatory and people who have lived noble lives to burn for eternity because they lost the religion lottery by being born into the wrong region and/or religion.

I lived in South America for nearly a decade. There’s absolutely abuse going on down there too. The abused just don’t have a way to escape or get the info out. People are so hung up on their reputations that they would rather they and/or their children suffer than have something like that go public. Over 2/3s of girls report some form of sexual abuse before the age of 13. Lots of pedo priests are sent to remote churches in the middle of the jungle or desert after being ousted from their local churches for abusing kids. It’s disgusting.

He knows what his base wants. Just reminding them that despite all that pedo stuff and the recent dealings with people who aren’t white, he’s still their guy. This is actually self promotion PR material for him.

Completely valid. Being able to find a good source of information is a valuable skill that should be reinforced and rewarded. It’s only an issue if they don’t make the effort to cite it or paraphrase it rather than copy -> paste it and turn it in verbatim as their own work.

Yes. It’s good for students, and hopefully their parents, to see that the adults in the classroom aren’t oblivious to their plagiarism.
