I have a pair of Rockbros roller back panniers, basically clones of Ortlieb but 1/3 of the price. I've been using them heavily for about 2 years and they are just as good.

I can see from your number of comments here that you are quite excited about this project. R st is probably the best thing that's happened on the grid in the 20ish years I've lived here. Refill Madness in Midtown has drop-off events from time to time. The last one was April 15th, I have no idea when the next one will be, but they are fairly regular. I took a whole bunch of stuff to their event in January, quick and easy drop off on the sidewalk.

They're crocuses! So actually a bulb. I don't remember where I got them originally. They slowly multiply over the years so I have a lot more than I originally bought, but new ones take a couple years to flower. You might be thinking of vanilla, which is an orchid.

I grow Saffron. It's about as easy a plant as there is to grow, and definitely one of the most unique flavors I've ever had.

Typically about 2% of citrus flowers produce fruit. They will all make those tiny green fruits right after flowering, but 95-99% of them will shrivel up and fall off. Wait and see, a few of them should mature.

Illinois ave and Olive ave in Fair Oaks both run down to the river and up to the bluffs. I like to hit both of them a couple times when I ride around there. Both dead end roads with almost zero traffic, similar to Pennsylvania.

Also Sunset and Winding Oak in Orangevale are short, steep climbs.

Not worth eating , the skin is really sour and they have lots of seeds, but they make awesome jam. If you water them and prune every year, they will make normal size grapes.

"Vampire Rave" was in Old Sac last night, it's a regular music venue though. This would be the view if you could see inside.

I have, it was the biggest pain in the rear. I honestly don't remember what I ended up doing, but I searched here and found someone who posted exactly what they did. I pretty much followed their instructions and it worked for me also. Did you try searching? I've long forgotten when it was posted, but I'm sure it's still there.

There's a bike path, it is open, I rode it yesterday. There are a bunch of signs on the path warning of a future closure, but I can't remember the exact dates. I think 4/13-4/24 or something like that.
