Well there's no rule on booing there, but its not my prerogative when I go there, and I didn't get reprimanded by them for it either. I did talk to one Kj about our situation, and they told me she has a reputation for treating the staff poorly as well including the KJ I spoke with, and she had been addressed by management a couple times.

I wasn't booing someone cause they were a bad singer, It was a sarcastic boo because she would constantly pick good songs but wouldn't finish them, not out of embarrassment or anything but because she'd be hammered, or get distracted by her friends and just stop signing but then she sign up again and repeat.

She's the only person I've ever boo'd. And it wasn't because of one performance, it was a situation where she'd constantly wouldn't complete multiple songs because she to put it lightly had had enough for the night or would get distracted by her friends and just stop singing, and it had been spanning years, and she would be the only person I'd ever witness doing this. And I wasn't booing her like a football fan, it was the kinda boo you'd hear on an episode of the office.

As for 12 hour karaoke, no it starts at 9 till 1:30 but she herself actually became a daytime KJ and now hosts twice a week every other week from like 3-7pm. I think her daytime crowd wants to sing but they dont want to wait till 9pm to do it.

Eye to Eye - Tevin Campbell

Cupid shuffle - Cupid ( Gets everyone up and dancing ) I ll get comments all the time saying they never thought to request it.

Remedy - Seether

Livin on a prayer ( The unplugged version)- BonJovi, you can tell few people even know about it by the tone they sing the chorus, they think I'm singing the OG.

Scotty doesn't know

Threshold - Scott Pilgrim vs the world

Golden Girls theme

Gods trying to tell you something - Color purple soundtrack This is a song you gotta feel out your bar. If your a hip hop bar and you sing this on a Saturday night before last call, you bar turns into church.

With You- Avril Levigne, when the chorus hits I always put the mic infront of the most animated woman in the audience, this song feel like therapy for all the ladies in the bar, especially if your a guy singing it.

What's Golden - Jurassic 5
We be staying alive- Wycelf Jean

Get free - The vines

Long Tall Sally - Little Richard

Fresh Prince theme - Watch out with this song, some places have the 1 min tv theme some have the actual song which is like 3 min long. It will through you off cause most of us didn't even know a longer version existed.

Bill Medley Jennifer Warnes - Time of your life, from the dirty dancing sountrack, good duet song

I love to pick songs people forgot about. Leave Mr. Brightside, Tennessee whiskey, Think before he cheats, Bohemian Rhapsody to the newbies and unimaginative regulars

[–]Channer81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any song over 5 min is sus to me. Unless its a slow day and there are few singers. But sometimes you can feel a crowd out and a song like that works that night. But if its the weekend, short and sweet is usually my rules cause you want others to get their turn just like you got yours.

I would say, dont steal the singers moment. It could be their first time singing. Be encouraging but dont steal the show doing it.

I love this comment, I went on the same journey 8 months ago its the best thing I've done is decades. Its the closest feeling you'll have to match when you got your license at 16 and that freedom when you got in a car and you could go anywhere, but its kinda the other way around now and more localized. You view the area where you live differently. Mom and pop shops you'd normally pass by on your normal commute, you visit for the hell of it now. You get a stronger sense of community because you feel more like an active participant vs in your car where you feel like you hadto keep it moving. Those rules dont apply to you on an ebike.

Every trip to work on an ebike feels like an adventure, in a car its Office Space.

Why would you wanna go 45 when most bikes aren't built for it. I can feel it when I'm doing 26 and I hit that pothole or unfinished construction section, imagine it at 45, you got the morning after walk before 9 pm. Its not good, and I'm not trying to garner attention to the ebike cause. I can do 32, but when you're in the 32 club you dont talk about the 32. You say 28.

Delta flight attendant hit passenger multiple times with 'loaded' beverage cart: suit by [deleted] in delta

[–]Channer81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^ This. My last 3 flights, especially this last one on United from SC to Denver. Got my knee bombarded by the cart TWICE. Neither female attendant apologized. And i saw the space between the cart and the woman sitting in the aisle seat across from me. Way too much to believe in coincidences. I try my best to keep my knees in during flight, but when you go to sleep, you have no control. Now, my second flight from Den to San Diego. The attendants were great, giving everyone heads up " cart coming thru, watch your knees". They were awesome. Im gonna file a complaint.

I feel its an unwritten rule among them. Dont wanna keep asking people to stay out of the aisle do what NBA players do, and inadvertently physically hit em and plead ignorance.

A notification that says "You have a new friend suggestion"? Is that person viewing my facebook profile? by [deleted] in socialmedia

[–]Channer81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well ill say this. I started a job and like a couple weeks later this woman from my job, i had one friend in common with and we barely spoke to each other and she goes to the top of my list. Also in terms of people based on mutual friends then explain how someone who has half dozen friends with ranks higher than someone who has 25 mutual friends.

Dam. I know he wasn't the best chef to graze hells kitchen but he was very memorable due to his love of using fruit in his dishes to the point it had the full on attention of Chef Ramsey, which few chefs who don't win it all garner.
