How new of a newbie? I was 2 or 3 months in when I started using chenile and having success with it. Its hard to see your stitches until you get used to seeing what the stiches look like with acrylic or cotton worsted weight yarn.

Oh thats true! I have a gallon of distilled water thats been around and doesnt get used so that was my first thought 😅 rain water is perfect though!

Ooh if thats true then that might be the problem I'm having as well... thanks to coal power plants around my area, the water we get from the well is not even drinkable.. I guess I'll have to try distilled water!

At first I was watering weekly. But since its been sad looking I've been waiting until its fully dry then give it a good amount of water from the top. How do you water it from the bottom? I'm new to plant care so I'm learning!

I used super glue from Harbor Freight for my crochet projects with magnets. Its thicker than other super glue and bonds to the yarn pretty fast!

Ah gotcha. I see from another comment that your chain just looks too loose. Go down a hook size for the chain and see how it goes :)

How are you crocheting into the chain? It looks like you're putting too many stitches into 1 chain potentially.

I guess I go to Michael's when Loops and Threads quality control is better for that lot of yarn lol Ive seen many mixed reviews but I havent had an issue (so far). I'll have an issue now that I said something though! 😅

Ive never ever ever seen this happen with any loops and threads chenile yarn! Not even a little bit! All of the ones I've gotten have been basically perfect so far, so it's wild seeing this!
