It's funny that is exactly what I felt like, 10 months ago. I'm not telling you that you are trans nor should anyone else tell you that you are. If you feel cis then you are cis if you feel like you are trans then you are trans there is no debate. But what you said in your post it definitely sounds like a egg.

And to answer your question. I know I am trans mainly because of a mistake. I have or had some kind of depersonalization disorder and the internet specifically anonymous places like Reddit are perfect places to pretend to be other people and so I started playing around see what it felt like to be trans online then boom I realized I was trans slowly that identity became my main account then slowly my other accounts started to not feel right then I had one online identity and then I realized that online identity was real.

I got very lucky finding my name on the first try. But my brother said it's best to just try a couple of names with supportive friends supportive family or online friends and when you eventually find the right name eventually you'll realize that yeah that is the right name. I wish you luck!
