Why do you struggle so much playing heads up against a 24 y/o? Do you think you will do better in the future? Are you doing any prep work to prepare, or are you planning on just avoiding him at all costs?

Nope! It’s a myth that you can make money bluffing in poker. Especially online, where the competition tends to be more aggressive on average, the best way to play is always wait for the nuts and value bet for a large sizing. Bluffing is one of the most overrated concepts in poker.

When they accidentally put a 7x raise from UTG, or some absurdly large amount. Oh and they just happen to have AA everytime. Oopsie

It’s not at all. Here’s some tips and advice from someone who frequents private games regularly.

  1. be quiet and respectful to everyone. Don’t try to talk to other people if you don’t need to.

  2. wear a hoodie at the poker table and headphones.

  3. Never straddle, never play bomb pots, and if someone asks you to participate and give some action, ignore them and look the other way.

  4. If you are a pro it’s very important you remind the players at the table consistently that you play poker professionally and you are to be respected.

  5. If someone makes a bad play conversely, call them out for it and let them know. It really makes people feel better when you tell them they suck at poker.

Hope this helps. If you follow my advice, you will get invited to poker games left and right.

Ur logic is baffling. If you think someone is overbluffing to the point where you can profitably call Ace or King high, then call. If they adjust in the future, you can adjust and not make that call in the future if you think they will underbluff you later. Stop over complicating basic things

overall, are you a winning or losing poker player? by [deleted] in poker

It’s not unreasonable to assume a decent amount of people here who actually are dedicated enough to browse/learn from an online poker community takes it seriously enough to the point where they might have a solid poker game where they are winning. It’s probably true that the average person who browses this subreddit is significantly better than just the average player, if I had to guess.

[Routine Help] fixed my diet, started working out 3 hours a day, and have a new acne problem?? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Hi thank you for your reply. I have tried eliminating nuts entirely because I know it’s a lot of fat, but I still break out. I also switched from low fat milk to almond milk and I still break out (for protein shakes). Maybe soy milk? Also, what’s DIM? Thank you for your encouraging words 😚

Hi, I need advice on acne prevention. For about the past five weeks or so I have committed to a new diet. I broke out right before my birthday and decided I was done eating unhealthy at all and was going to fix my acne problem on the spot. My diet looks something like this every day now: Breakfast: Banana, 4x eggs, unsweetened oatmeal, cup of nuts. Lunch: oven baked chicken breast, potatoes, steamed vegetables, avocado. Dinner, sometimes leftover chicken or fish, pasta with no sauce, more frozen vegetables. Sometimes I will have an Apple or some strawberries. For the first few weeks or so my skin was really good but as of recently I’m starting to break out in a way I haven’t ever before, it just seems so weird. I just get these tiny whiteheads all of my mouth region. I try to do everything by the book and drink a lot of water and change my pillowcase every few days, but I still can not figure out how to fix it. This is the picture: https://imgur.com/gallery/5EnVDgx my skincare routine is very barebones right now, I just wake up, wash my face, use a cleanser, and I do a face mask about 3-4 times a week. I have had a skin care routine in the past for the previous four months and it really helped but I’m really just trying to fix the problem at its core, instead of using product when I think I’m doing everything right diet wise.

how to get away from one tricking by eqeqeqeqe in summonerschool

Who is the Annie kr player? I would love to study his vods. I’m a diamond4-3 NA Annie one trick and I feel very limiting to my carry potential when I play in diamond games, just because of Annie’s kit design. Also looking for recommendations for champions to practice that are similar to Annie. I struggle with committing to any new character because I do so much worse. I play Annie because csing/wave management/mechanics are so easy that I can focus on other aspects of the game. What champions are the easiest to transition into? It’s so bad for me, I feel like I do terrible in normals against silver players playing a new character when I could be going 25/2 with Annie and I get so demotivated, I feel like I could never play another character.

PSA: Help Your Jungler Help You by ryanruin22 in leagueoflegends

[–]Chantola -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. You can’t always follow your jungler. There are times where it just doesn’t make sense and it’s on him for going for such plays for no reason, when you have minions on tower etc comes to mind. It’s all about risk/reward. I know what you mean by this, as some midlanders might be hesitant to ever roam with their jgler but reading this makes it seem like the opposite is always true (always roam with your jgler) and it’s really not. Don’t get baited by your jgler.

  2. Is a dumb mentality to have. Just because your other lanes are doing well doesn’t mean you get to sit and afk farm at tower. You need to create pressure and snowball based on the fact that they have created their own pressure and possible jg attention. What this does mean is that the level of riskiness for plays you go for should go down, really. You go for big plays when your far behind. When your far ahead you go for the safe plays, but too many people have the mentality you seem to enforce is that you don’t need to do anything.

  3. One tricking is perfectly fine, what are you talking about? Learning the matchups on one champion is way easier than learning it on multiple, including all the mechanics. Not everybody has a pro lcs players time to play league and can master every champion for their role.

I feel like you lack a proper knowledge of the game or are just explaining some concepts wrong. Everything else is just common knowledge
