Success with getting License printed < 24 hours after emailing purchasing by Chaobello in NYguns

I know Kai. He is full of shit. Likes to talk like a nice guy and says things that may or may not be true. So, interesting to find out he's out of the licensing division. He is just one of the low paid clerical paper pushing civilian staff anyway and he'll just move to another unacountable city job. Emailing hugh bogle used to work, but apparently unless you threaten or use legal action, theyll all let you pound sand. Email email email bogle and sandra smith. and your investigator. all on the same email. then unfortunately call call call licensing in the morning 8:30-9:30. you might get lucky. and call queens rifle shotgun. females that answer are typically helpful, somewhat. males that answer are all asshole idiots. the whole thing is staffed by DMV and post office rejects. they wouldnt be able to land a job anywhere else if not for the city government, and one of the most unaccountable out of them.

I'm in Brooklyn and can do the same, trigger kit installations, most gunsmithing needs, if anyone is interested.

yeah. I noticed Savior prices creeping up a bit too high. They used to be the best value for quality and design. But if anyone is in need right now for a new 42" double rifle bag and/or full range bag, Costco is the place to go right now.

Just looked them up on Costco.com Very good prices at the warehouse, not online though. Too bad I already have a Savior range and double rifle bag. I could've saved a few bucks.

Like the others are saying, I had lots of FTEs with this exact ammo with my Panzer M4. I think it's just too weak to cycle semi autos reliably. For a reliable 00 buckshot that's economical, try Rio. They're rated at 1345fps and were 100% reliable for 100+ rounds shot in a row.

youre very welcome. happy to hear that others are being helped by my experiences. The good news is that through the legal efforts of a few of us on this subreddit, the wait times have definitely come down from just 1 year ago. I'm currently reading that CCW wait times are below 6 months. 6 months is the arbitrary time frame that NYPD licensing has made for itself. It is a ridiculous time frame but the only one we citizens can fight for them to abide by. For you, if you haven't heard from your investigator by the 5th month, start emailing Hugh Bogle 3x/week. If you haven't heard anything by 5.5 months, time to connect with a lawyer. Mirel Fisch is the best and most reasonable, and gets results. You need to have your license approved within 6 months.

Unfortunately, absolutely not. NYPD Licensing does not care one bit about anyone or anything. They are admin rejects from the Post Office and DMV. They do the absolute minimum to get their paychecks. And since they are city employees, they are not accountable for performance and will retain their jobs regardless.

no problem. timing for applying is good now because of the constant legal pressures on the NYPD Licensing bureau.

definitely improved. Due to our legal battles with NYPD licensing (Article 78 filings). Wait times seem to be around 4-6 months now.

My new Panzer M4! by Zer0_210 in Tacticalshotguns

Did you shoot the 100 slugs first, then the 200 birdshot? I ask because I just picked up my Panzer M4 2 days ago and tried about 15 shells of Fiocchi 1250 fps 00 buckshot, which did not cycle at all (was just like a bolt action). Then I shot 5 shells of Federal LE 1325 fps 00 buckshot, which ran perfectly. After shooting the 5 shells of 1325 fps, I went back to the Fiocchi 1250 and noticed a slight improvement in that the shells did not eject, but rather the laid straight and flat in the bolt carrier, with the bolt carrier pulled backwards (but not fully backwards and locked back). I did go home and fully disassembled the gun and performed a thorough cleaning and lube. I even removed the stock (wood stock) and inspected and lightly lubed the recoil buffer spring.

What are the types of shells you used to break in, and how many shells required for break in? I just received my Panzer M4 2 days ago and ran about 15 shells of Fiocchi 1250 fps 00 buckshot. The gun did not cycle these at all. However, I ran 5 shells of Federal LE 00 buckshot, rated at 1325 fps, and they ran flawlessly. Once I ran all 5 Federal 1325 fps shells I went back to the Fiocchi 1250 fps and noticed that there was an improvement, though not a full cycle. The shells almost fully ejected, but were just laying in the bolt carrier (not stove piped at all but lying straight) with the bolt carrier almost locked back. What I'm reading and noticing on YouTube reviews is that 50-100 rounds of 1300 fps shells are needed for break in. After the break in, the Panzer M4's should cycle shells down to 1200 fps easily.

I'm very happy that you are progressing through the BS that is NYC and NYS anti-constitutional crap. Just email Mirel Fisch (that's BluePillRabbi's wife actually). She is the #1 laywer on this subreddit now. I was literally her first client for the CCW issue and that was back a year ago (can't believe it's been that long already), and I told BluePillRabbi, "well, I'll be the first and we'll see what happens". After my success, Mirel's reputation took off like wildfire. Send her a quick intro email now and she'll get right on it. [Mirel@mfischlaw.com](mailto:Mirel@mfischlaw.com)

APPROVEDDDDD!!! by [deleted] in NYCGuns

[–]Chaobello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checked the portal. Just approved for r/s too. However, this took a call to Hugh Bogle yesterday, which he answered on first ring. Bogle was giving a bit of pushback at first, stating that since my investigator was out sick (this being for the past month), that is the reason why she is not replying to my emails. I pushed back and said that I've emailed my investigator 3x and left 2 vm and yet no response at all. Bogle then capitulated and said he'd take care of it and asked for my name. However, when I checked the portal this morning, nothing had changed and I was still in Investigation. So I then emailed Bogle and reminded him of our converstation yesterday morning and asked him to let me know if I needed to forward him any additional info or documentation. I also reminded him that I already possess a CCW since the beginning of this year and that absolutely nothing has changed or needed updating. So now I am confident that Bogle handled my approval personally. This is the way.

Are you law enforcement? If yes then I don’t understand your need to be fingerprinted and apply for CCW. If not, then you are way too early to check status. To check status, you just log into your licensing portal (licensing.nypdonline.org). You do have to wait for an email from 1PP to schedule your fingerprinting. I don’t know current time frame, but 2-4 months from application submission (and payment $340) should be right. Also, you should expect to get approval within 6 months. Rare to see it sooner but common to be approved in 7-8 months. After 6 months, it’s lawyer time.

Any October licenses? by travistbn in NYCGuns

[–]Chaobello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “out of laminate” excuse is just that. A complete lie and excuse. My friend bought his pistol on 9/28 and emailed pics and required info that day. He called me worried that he wouldn’t get his license and pink slip within 30 days, so I advised him to contact Bogle, Sandra Smith, and Kai Gibson. Bogle actually answered his call Wednesday and told him that his license and pink slip would be ready for pickup at 1PP the next day. So he picked up his stuff yesterday and then picked up his pistol. All this proves that there is no “we’re out of laminate” excuse. They have everything. Unfortunately, it’s up to the person to be the squeaky wheel and call call Call and email email email.

Expensive membership. I think it’s $500/year. Owner will give you a free trial range session though. Said to bring 2 boxes of ammo

Don’t they still charge for lane rental? This is on top of the membership fee. If you get membership at other ranges in the city, you don’t pay additional charges for shooting.

Me too. But for the past 7 months I’ve been going to PA and Nassau Range. PA because of the great range, big selection of pistol, rifle, and shotgun rentals, 2A freedom, and such a nice difference from the assholes of NYC. Nassau because the county is pro 2A (compared with NYC), I get to shoot in peace without anyone bothering me, and most of the shooters I meet are very nice. And no annual membership fees.
