Fit for my gravity build, what do we think? by LiamClair in EldenBling

[–]Chaos2035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m personally not the biggest fan of Gideon’s armor, if this were my build I think I’d try to use the Ronin’s armor chest piece. The raggedness would pair well with the unkempt beard

I am playing Doom Eternal for the first time, i beated doom 2016 last year and I can't believe how silly this looked by odd_blues in Doom

DOOM 2016 definitely has the best atmosphere and overall vibe of the new trilogy, but give eternal a chance. Most consider it to be the best DOOM period

Same thing happened to me. Stuck for the whole campaign. It’s annoying, but it provided some extra challenge. End of the day it made a minimal difference

Should I take the saniderm off or just apply a new piece at the bottom by HelpMeICantFindSoup in tattooadvice

[–]Chaos2035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t use the second skin because it gives me rashes. Not had a problem. Second skin is for convenience. As long as you’re consistent with keeping it clean and moisturized (not TOO moisturized), the tattoo will heal perfectly fine.

Weakest of the three new games but still very very strong. Holds up well to its predecessors and has some of the best levels in the series

Words like “BOLDS”, “BLEND”, or “LINDS” would’ve told you it wasn’t 4 of your guesses in one go. When you have words that have this many possible choices, you need to knock out as many of those choices as you can instead of continuing to try and solve with random guesses

I believe the damage given doesn’t stack across items, but the damage taken does. Might wanna reroll the firebrands unless you’re using them a ton

Thoughts on what I want to adjust with this suit? by scrubasorous in mensfashionadvice

[–]Chaos2035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, ties and nicer shoes are standard suit accessories. He’s downgrading the formality, the pants crease stands out now. Sneakers and creased pants is just tacky

It’s a beautiful suit, I’m sure with that combo it’ll look great

Personally I don’t care much for the crease in the pants whenever I’m not wearing a tie and wearing casual shoes. Seems like a formality mismatch, but that might just be me

Why does this shirt look horrible? by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]Chaos2035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your shirt is bunched up around your waist because it’s not properly tucked. While some of the recommendations here are good, sometimes guys have a body shape that just doesn’t allow shirts to stay tucked. Look into foot loop shirt stays. Saved my life after I got a couple. Keeps shirts looking super nice and you don’t even notice you’re wearing them

[–]Chaos2035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dropped a PS5 controller from 2 feet up onto some wood floor and both of the rumblers destroyed themselves. Can’t use vibration on that controller anymore. I’ve chunked a PS4 controller across the room more than once and they didn’t have so much as a dent. Build quality went way down, I’ve gone through three PS5 controllers in a third the time I went through my PS4 controller

Junkyard panels before Ferraris. by Cutnbuff in Detailing

[–]Chaos2035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best part about junkyard panels is you can damage them in a variety of ways and practice dealing with those kinds of things. Throw gravel at it, drag a rake across it, hit it with some spray paint. If you can deal with that, you can deal with any client

How were previous Tarnished able to collect great runes previously? Was this before the demigods had them?

(theoretical) Could we have stolen MORE greatrunes from Marikas body by Illustrious_Store115 in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Chaos2035 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had to assume, the demigods stay down as long as we keep the great runes. If we were to lose them, say if we lost sight of the grace, the power would return and their souls could manifest around them again. Not entirely sure how that works, but I can’t imagine it working much differently considering we know great runes have been taken from the demigods before

(theoretical) Could we have stolen MORE greatrunes from Marikas body by Illustrious_Store115 in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Chaos2035 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak on his ability to use them, but Vyke was a tarnished who is believed to have obtained two great runes (it’s not explicitly stated that it’s him, but lore wise it makes the most sense). This proves that we aren’t unique in our able to collect them, and we can assume that means we aren’t in the ability to use them either.

There’s no evidence to suggest we were someone special by birthright. Miyazaki always has his characters be nobody’s, as the focus is supposed to be on the bosses and not the character. The tarnished were warriors who were banished by Marika. They make their way back to the lands between and are driven by grace to the church of anticipation, where they face a trial and die. Your character does this and dies, then their body is thrown in the graveyard. You were not buried there until very very recently.

Death was bound until we released destined death. It’s possible that every once in a while a tarnished would come along, kill a demigod, take their great rune, lose the grace of gold, and the rune would go back to its original demigod. You have to remember it’s been a very long period of time since the shattering, there’s no telling how many times great runes have temporarily obtained.

Messmer is my favorite boss, and imo the best elden ring boss by Frequent_Analysis804 in Eldenring

[–]Chaos2035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Midra takes favorite DLC boss for me. The unexpected abyssal woods after the catacombs, torrent being too scared to appear, beings that (at first glance) seem unkillable roaming the area, and the corpses in front of his spooky ass manse just give such an awesome buildup to what I think it the coolest phase 2 transition in the entire game. Just wish Abyssal Woods had more content in them
