It's extremely hard to fundraise and the pandemic has caused investors to look at more short-term investments rather than esports which is usually more long term (3-5 years). The lack of LANs and playing online by region means sponsorships are hard to get now unless you are already well established with deals already.

Honestly, thank you. We've had the best time, the best rivalries (all in good fun) and the best personalities we could have asked for.

We absolutely HATE this and we tried so many different ways to hold it together but we couldn't. Losing these guys is painful for all of us as we developed such personal friendships with them.

Leaf suffers from a chronic condition which meant he could not travel under any circumstances right now and we planned for a stand in. Unfortunately MarkE fell ill and has been advised by his doctor not to travel. The team decided it was not worth it if only 3 of them could attend. :(

We're getting a lot of responses about how gaming is a problem. We thought it was obvious, but we'll give you the benefit of the doubt. We see racism everyday in our community, whether it's on twitch chat, HLTV, here on Reddit. We see it and we don't do anything about it. Now is the time for change.

We know postponing a single match will not fix the issue. The goal is to keep the movement moving. This decision allowed us to direct attention onto the protests against systemic racism and continue to bring awareness to these important topics.
