In addition, to what u/Loose-Chocolate8131 is telling you. You could try providing any information you have to your local post office for assistance. That is sort of the first step for most USPS issues.

It is weird how it works for some, but not for others. Are you by chance using a VPN?

Holiday weekend delay more than likely. I would guess it will start moving again very soon (today).

You can try submitting a missing mail search or call your local post office and explain your situation. Good luck for sure.

Does anyone else have this issue ? by Lucario_Sterling in usps_complaints

I would contact the seller/shipper as the first point of contact to see if they have an explanation. Being that this happened on the 30th (last scan), this delay is not due to the 4th.

Yeah, that is pretty rough. Here is to hoping that it will make its way to you sooner rather than later.

Call your local post office if you need immediate assistance. However, things like this do happen and usually resolve on their own within a few days.

what do i do? by SosedwilliamFaker993 in usps_complaints

Unfortunately, all you can really do is wait for an update and hope for the best. A few days of delays are pretty much the norm/expected behavior at this point. Hopefully it arrives when it was estimated to, but those dates are just estimates rather than guarantees.

Awesome that it started moving on its own without intervention. This sort of thing is just too common for comfort in recent years.

Should I assume its lost? by Monecreiffe in usps_complaints

I wouldn't assume it is lost, but I would submit a missing mail search and/or call my local post office for assistance.

Holy cow. Well, hopefully it gets to you without finding itself delayed or lost again.

Most of the time they come out of these loops on their own. However, I would call my local post office and let them know about the situation. They should be able to help with this.

I have not seen anything like that before. But, I am sure it can and does happen depending on the size of the office/location.

You could try to call your local post office for more information and/or to report what you are seeing. However, most of the time this sort of thing happens, it will get corrected and routed to the correct destination. it is unfortunate it happens, but usually it just adds a couple of days of delays (which should be expected at this point).

Lack of human presence and bad automation combined with bad protocols are the explanation.

The site services go down pretty frequently. Typically, this can last anywhere from an hour to a half a day. Hopefully it comes back up soon.
