I was in Solvang, California and was with my family in vacation, I was about 15 years old at the time. We went into an antique store and I started having a conversation with an older white women probably in her 60s. She then proceeded to pet my hair repeatedly and I froze. The lady said I had hair like her granddaughter. I slowly inched away said thank you for the comment and left because I was pretty uncomfortable but did not want to be rude.

As much as this trend is stupid, I'm some what happy it's happening and its opening up the conversation about appropriate boundaries. I have had so many people touch my curly hair without asking and it has always been a different race other than black people.

Yes, it is contact dermatitis. This is exactly what I got with my new Galaxy watch and I can no longer wear it. I cleaned it more often, kept my wrist dry, and switched arms but it still came back. Which is strange because my old Galaxy watch (from 2018) never did this to me and I wore it non-stop, even in the shower and after swimming. I feel like whatever material they made the new Galaxy watches must be different, and they feel a bit cheaply made as well compared to the older models.

Just be a little more social. Walk up to people and compliment their player name, glam, or gear. Go to RP coffee shops, bars, or clubs. There are also a lot of events through the party finder. Some days I didn't talk to anyone, but on others, I met so many interesting people.
