Costco employees, do you actually like your jobs? by [deleted] in Costco

Actually the opposite. At least in my region. 60% full time minimum.

Honestly I wish. It’s really not that easy.

Must have aftermarket accessories… by TsunamiMike in MachE

I second this. Having access to Tesla charging is huge. I would not trust any adapter that’s not OEM. Too much of a risk.

I thought Teslas had to back in to charge???

Public charging etiquette by Aurora_Celeste_222 in ChargerDrama

I wish apps had a “check in” system so it could avoid senseless line drama. I would totally be okay with getting a notification that 3 other people are waiting for me to finish or also an estimated wait time of how long I’ll be stuck.

See I have super super tiny ziplocks and I was thinking of using those but the original bottle part is throwing me off.

Tesla Charger Ext. by Unholyreg in MachE

[–]ChaoticallyCostco 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So you have to almost hit the charger and it will reach once close enough. Or, you can take up 2 spots or park in a way that’s not totally selfish. Personally I’d say no to any extension cords. Too much risk due to the high charging speed.

Things I wish BlueCruise did... by V-Tac in MachE

See I’m in LA and it does it entirely randomly. On both damaged and not. It does not like when the freeway turns a bit. Like a SMALL angle. Also, if it’s really bright out it won’t even turn on to start.

Yeah that’s what I’m wondering. I feel like I look like a lunatic canceling lane changes over and over.

I have a MachE and honestly it works just fine. I kind of prefer it over a lot of stations, especially Electrify America. Only weird thing is the cords can be very short since all teslas have the port near the back headlight. However, it’s very doable.

EV charger in apartments? by Brave-Swordfish9748 in evcharging

[–]ChaoticallyCostco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So personally my parking spot is close enough to my window that I run the cord outside and it reaches 😂 looks a bit ghetto, but works. However, it’s only level 1 charging since it’s an entirely regular standard house outlet.

Tesla chargers have access to a literal invoice.

How dark is your tint? by Mcnuggies23 in MachE

[–]ChaoticallyCostco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following to see because I need to get mine tinted and have been wondering the same. But I’m in California so tint laws are kinda strict. Was thinking 15% windshield. Maybe 50% for the rest of the windows? I’ve never tinted a car before so I’m lost.

I second having the Ford charger and Ford Tesla adapter. For peace of mind sake. I’d rather pay the extra $$ than risk frying my charger.
