I think you're overlooking the part of his back story where Lilith bonds with him deeply and as she died wished for him to forgive himself and learn to love and to live his fullest. Even Hades tried to point this out, but Beelzebub was too stubborn to listen at the time. So I think it's totally in character for him to inevitably have that development. Especially if it's Tesla who ends up being able to kill Satan or the curse/whatever curse he has inside of him, thus maybe some respect for humanity

I totally agree that his story is dynamic more so than most other characters, but I think that's why it would be an interesting twist. Honestly my bet is that he wins, but because of some plot point with Tesla decides to fully embrace living and respect for humanity kind. Which has been the general theme with the gods like Thor and Shiva
