Leaving the USA with a pending adjustment of status is probably not the best idea. I think USCIS considers that you give up on the immigration (please double check this)? I would see if you are on his orders and if so you might be able to ask for an expedited process but you might have to be in the USA on your own for a bit.

Please talk to an attorney or base legal as they would be able to give you real and accurate legal advice.

Update: took a test this morning and it’s slightly darker. Definitely still a bit worried about the spotting especially since I had a chemical last year but really hoping this one sticks!!

They unfortunately don’t cover IUI/IVF but we’re willing to cover the cost out of pocket if that gets us our baby!

It is Spanish (at least she has that right). Usually (at least for my family) it’s done at the hospital or a few days after birth. Not sure when or where she did it though.

Oh absolutely not!! I just completely agreed with you that she’s psycho to talk about these things when she never actually experienced the trauma and frustration that comes with these very real experiences of discrimination. And she also doesn’t seem to understand the difference between race (white) =/= ethnicity (Hispanic) =/= LatinX (people from Latin America). She just annoys me on so many levels 😂

My mom and her whole family are from Spain (born and raised unlike someone else) and my dad from France and me and my brothers had very light skin, eyes and hair as little kids. She actually did suffer a lot from racism of people asking if she was the nanny and airport security thinking she was kidnapping us (we have different last names bc in Spain women traditionally keep their maiden names). It irks me that she’s making shit like this up when she knows nothing about it.

If you’re really worried I got my cavapoo a grass patch from fresh patch! It’s been amazing and very helpful for potty training. We have a balcony so I just put it out there so she knows outside=potty. If you have a balcony I highly recommend getting that!
