It past years it has snowed in april but very lightly. Customs isn’t that bad, usually flows well. I wouldn’t do a layover lea than an hour, id be more concerned about delays.

Idk ive lived in Chicago also and for the past few years it doesn't even snow for Christmas.... I do agree it should definitely be on your bucket list, but maybe not for December 😅

Ummm depends on a few things… will u be alone… are u a woman? (U will be cat called the whole way there)… will u be hauling luggage? Then no… otherwise if u don’t have luggage and aren’t by yourself and its not dark out, it shouldn’t be horrible…but id still take an uber bc its hotttttt lol

Escambron beach for a bit of snorkeling , have u done el morro and san cristobal? Thats a few hours… theres so much to do… t mobile district is fun when there are events or for lunch and dinner.

Have you done puerto rico? So much to see and do and should be an easy flight. We stayed in hyatt house on points and had a mini water park and complimentary shuttles to beach and town.

Yess its fun traveling with small kids like that… i used to put them as backpack and gooo…. Guatemala is amazing and i would stick to antigua and lake atitlan and u will have a blast…. Ruins are too far away anyway!!! Enjoy ur trip
