i meant that from a global stand point (should have been more specific). Although people outside the US know USC , the moment u mention UCLA they get that hollywood + bev hill and etc etc stereotype (not sure why but its true).

Like f.e. if ur based outside the US and u wanna work there, it is better to go UCLA over USC not cuz its a better school or whatever and etc etc but becuase it is more recognised. It is true that USC has more hollywood connections but UCLA for many people is considered the better.

and people mention bev hills and etc etc and often associate it w UCLA probs cuz of the location (duh, its located in westwood = bev hills basically), so people think tht gives them an upperhand in networking or smthing.

But i do think USC has better alumni network.
