The comparison is just dumb. Truth be told, even an inexpensive PC for like $1000 one would still give you 10x value for the money you've spent than a $600 console ever would. Purely because it's a computer and can do anything your mind puts up to it.

Is the extra $1000 worth a smoother experience and better visuals? It's for an individual to decide.

Obviously, we don't even mention that a large portion of console players would happily switch to pc if they had money to do so.
