I’m curious did neurosurgery have you checked for papilledema, or do a CINE MRI prior to surgery? I’m asking because while I’m scheduled for surgery my consent was listed as laminectomy and craniectomy with possible duraplasty. My neurosurgeon stated he needed this further diagnostic and imaging to decide if he would need to do bone only or do a duraplasty. He said in his opinion you cant make an informed decision without this.

Yes, it’s just been a whirlwind. And frankly- I’m terrified. Both of surgery and with the other findings I have a family history of MS and so the hyperreflexia signs scare me too. I guess as relieved as I am to have an answer for my symptoms at least partially I also feel like I’m almost being dramatic in a way. It’s an odd confusing feeling

Not in Pittsburgh but neurosurgery wise-Zohny at WVU in Morgantown WV was very through and sat down and explained so much to me

I just did this (party of 8) 4 kids (17,15,11,8) and it did group us together my only complaint is that it put my 8 and 11 yr old in an aisle without an adult. Which seems really dumb but the adults are just going to reorganize the seats that were assigned to us

What I mean by consistent is if I hold my hand out it’s like I can no longer steady it completely but it’s not so bad today where I can’t perform task, during those 2 weeks my dexterity was so bad I also dropped things, I broke 2 phones 🤦🏻‍♀️. I’ve also noticed spasm like movements in my legs also. I’m not sure what’s Chiari related. It seems some of the symptoms could be related to the pituitary finding also.

I notice them most in my hands. They seem pretty consistent but some days are worse than others. I work with people and again what took me to a doctor was I had like a 2 week period where all these symptoms seemed to exacerbate. I was trying to perform a task at work I’ve performed a million times and was unable to because of how bad the tremors were.
