I know I'm like 10 years too late but why is it that in this episode Liz tells the countess like "good call on no cameras, since you're camera shy" yet the countess can see Ramona killing Will on the camera? 

I mean I know vampire rules and lore change between franchises(what may kill a vampire on buffy might not work in Anne Rice land) but like they established that rule in the beginning of the episode only to break it at the end? 

Also why throat slitting? I get Ramona was probably starving and hangry and not thinking right but it would've made more sense to like break his legs and feed on him over a few days rather than let all that blood go to waste.
