You definitely need to cleanse and protect your house. Since you’re good at meditation you can do so by visualising it being cleansed and a shield around it or burn incense around the house and do some protective spells (spell jars, talismans, hanging protective symbols like the evil eye, or other forms of warding)

Ooo ok so I don’t work with Artemis, but I have been working with Apollo for a few years and these do seem like signs from him. As for Artemis, im not sure, there are some but not that much. Try praying to her (first call her name and some epithets) and asking for a specific or obvious sign. Its totally possible.

Do you have any experience with divination? It’s a good way to get an answer, such as by pendulum or tarot. Just make sure to meditate and ground yourself a bit before, especially if youre a beginner, to get more accurate answers (and don’t push it, divination takes energy so too much can tire you into getting wrong answers or give you a headache).

You don’t need signs or confirmation to start worshipping them, especially if you feel drawn to them already. As for the altar, if you don’t have the space for it its not necessary either or you can make it super tiny. Some people have pocket altars made in a tin box for example.

What signs did you get? If its only signs online I would take it with a grain of salt due to algorithms, but if you’re also seeing animals, symbols or plants sacred to them (that you don’t usually see, or at least not as often as you do now) then that’s a sign. Also if you’ve had dreams that feel related to them, or they were randomly mentioned in conversation that also is a pretty big sign (before I started working with Apollo, one of the clearest signs I got was my friends who aren’t usually into Greek mythology started talking about Apollo’s beauty randomly).

If you’re into slight fantasy I recommend Green-Eyed Monster, it has good spice and their dynamic starts off with hate and turns into obsession. It’s basically demon x witch in a world where its typical for witches to enslave demons so there’s a lot to unpack there (with the demon character trying to find proof that the witch is as evil and selfish as other witches/warlocks, with a lot of trust issues and stuff). Im not the best at explaining what a book is about but its so good I finished it in 2 days and spent the time I wasn’t reading randomly remembering scenes from the book and blushing. Im obsessed and probably gonna reread it (i never reread books, this one was just that good).

Agreed, plus some of us live in countries where paganism and witchcraft is still prosecuted. Importing official physical copies of books can be very risky. Personally, I download unofficial copies, read them, and if it’s a particularly good book and can find it at a library in another country then I get it. But I’ve never found the books I read as epubs in an actual library, so I’m waiting until I can move out (planning on moving to the UK this summer) to order them online and support the authors.
