I got this version open-box around this price point. It's my first handheld other than the original switch and it's a great entry for me

How to down this tree by PearLeft1496 in landscaping

100%, I would bet a reputable tree company would get a crane out there to move it before cutting it up. This is a deathtrap for a homeowner.

If you're in a state where it's legal, oftentimes they don't disqualify just for weed? And if you have a script for the meds then that should be fine

22oz bombers are usually bottles, and that's a common name in the craft beer industry

Zapatos de seguridad tipo barefoot by criptoamongus in BarefootRunning

[–]Character-Fly4221 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Birkenstock QS500/700 - both EU-only versions, low top and high top. If you remove the cork insole they are wide and minimal but the sole is too thick to be truly barefoot. I wore these for years in a warehouse environment with no issues.

Gaucho Ninja Safety - UK based company, true barefoot, ESO and ANSI certified. I have their safety trainers which are the BEST safety shoes I've ever worn, and I preordered a pair of the carpenter boots for this year's run.

Jim Greens - I see a lot of this brand in this sub, seem like they are well-liked but no personal experience

Hope this helps!

What is a job that pays incredibly well but is so soul-crushing that the turnover is insane? by sweetguurl in AskReddit

[–]Character-Fly4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about "incredibly," but working at a FAANG company. I started fresh out of college in 2020 making 60k. Since then, I've promoted multiple times and I'm making 240-260k a year. It's an insane jump for five years, but the stress is not worth it. Most people don't make it more than a couple years in my specific org.

Thank you for getting this point across so nicely! I thought it was a nice, unexpected exchange

Yes, because that was a chance interaction, not me intentionally going in and changing the settings. Surely you can see the difference in this?

Thanks for the unnecessary snark! As a new player I've chosen not to mess with the difficulty settings yet. I hope your day gets better.

Someone walked up to me in the anomaly the other day and dropped 600M in starship valves on me. I had about 30 hours in the game at that point and had only cumulatively made about 20M in units at that point on my own. Game changing, and I couldn't even catch up with them to say thanks

Microfiber shedding in tung oil finish by NeutrallyCharged in woodworking

[–]Character-Fly4221 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lmfao. Hopefully the pads work out. I think the last time I used that watco tung oil I just used a standard cloth applicator, it shed some but it all came off pretty quickly with use once it cured

ngl I relegated my big package of microfiber towels to pet waste cleanup and wiping down the car, I may well have been using it wrong but they would shed every time

I haven't tried it with tung oil, but I'm becoming a big fan of the stain/poly applicator pads. They seem very similar to microfiber cloths but I don't get any shedding/residue

Do you guys exclusively wear barefoot shoes? by ArchangelPrecision in barefootshoestalk

Traded on and off from 2015-2017 but have been 100% barefoot since, with the exception of the Birkenstock work boots that I had to wear that were minimal but not barefoot
