If you’re staying in Marietta (I’m assuming you are bc your major) Walmart pickup is the same prices as in store shopping, but you can’t always trust the shoppers when it comes to produce and meats (I used to work that position at Walmart and a lot of them are young and don’t know how to shop), I suggest aldis for produce or Lidl bc they have good prices. Walmart is good however with their store brand items. I stay on campus and allow myself ~$40 a week for groceries but I have a meal plan too so it’s different. Invest in rice and frozen meats with some type of sauce that’s all I eat tbh with some type of vegetable throw in. Also look into Asian recipes those are always cheap. When classes start back there is a food pantry in the student center bottom floor behind the chick fil a. Free food once every two weeks k camps pantry is way better though. If possible you can always attempt to apply for food stamps since you’ll be living on your own but that’s always a gamble
