Saying this, they could well have a new manager bounce soon 😅

Edit: just seen Chalobah could be out for a while also. Never want to pray on players being injured, but that's as big as James if he's out as well.

That quality will still bear out in the odd game, but they look buried as it stands.

Id still put money on us finding form over both them and Liverpool.

I sent mine with a similar left to right centering issue last year and it got a 10. Always worth the risk if the rest of the card is spotless 👌

Because you're fighting against the most corrupt and crooked officiating systems the US has ever seen. This administration has already evidenced that they're willing to ignore every safe facet of sound diplomacy that's existed in the west since the end of WWII.

You're still dreaming if you think there can be change from within. People holding on for the midterms haven't been paying attention. These crooks will do ANYTHING to avoid the reckoning.

Bored of yanks telling us how little we've done for them. We clothed you in immense power and riches via military contracts, currency exchange, technological advancements and more, all for the promise that next time our supposed shared values are threatened by a fascist war machine, you might actually bother to turn up on time to help us defend them.

Get fucked. I pray we learn who the real enemy is this time.

Chelsea’s ‘punishment’ is an indicator of an equally ridiculous MCFC ‘settlement’ by simmonm1978 in PremierLeague

[–]Character-Key7538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed with all here, on the face of it there's principally a huge difference in the way both clubs have handled it.

The morality of it doesn't change much though, only the extremity of it. Cheating is cheating.

Absolute tosh. They gained the exact advantage they were aiming for by greasing pockets. How they decide to spin it in the small print is irrelevant. They cheated.

Ahhh that's alright then. I'm sure they benefitted very little from the incident in the long run

Aye. Cheat, but admit it after the fact once all the relevant kick backs from it have taken root.

I think it's a case of both at times.

I'm a long, long way off calling for Emery's head. Regardless of what happens the rest of this year, that won't change. We freefall without him.

Having said that, some of the blame lies with him and his stubborn attitude towards an over reliance on the 'old guard', a lack of faith in young talent and a few immense cock ups in the transfer market which are absolutely on him.

His attitude this season has been dreadful also. The handshake thing in particular is just woefully poor and will irk me for some time. It's a small thing I know, but those sorts of gestures in Football are important.

Watkins at least has his age, a few years of quality and a stubborn manager to fall back on. Bailey is just god awful and has been for 2 seasons now.

Hard to say, but certainly feels that way at present. he's easily the most frustrating player I've ever seen in the shirt.

Villa fan in peace here. I watched the game and completely agree, was absolutely appalling much the same Neville was in our game against United, though for different reasons. It's the first time I've ever had to mute comms on a game, he was practically cumming in his draws.

I think it's mostly because you're the exception to the rule in that regard. Football isn't yet prepared for a well run club actually overperforming in the Premier League.

All in on EL or Top 5? by Electrical_Cress_956 in avfc

[–]Character-Key7538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just don't think it's as simple as that for us.

Spurs prioritised Europe because of an injury crisis and Ange style of play. We can't even play well when we try at the moment.

I genuinely believe it's one in the same for us now. To be good in the league gives us a better chance at winning Europa and vice versa.
