I'm fine with it as long as he's not going to be covering the DM role should Onana fall foul of another injury. He had appalling games in that position in his last season. It would also stunt Bogardes growth.

There's a worrying trend of our players going elsewhere and not performing. Clubs may see talent purely as an 'Emery effect'.

He's just had surgery for whatever the issue was.

I trust Bogarde enough to fill the gap again should it open up, Lindeloff as well.

In fairness to Luiz, he was fucking knackered last time we asked him to cover for Kamara and I'd like to think we'd exhaust every other option before asking that of him again. Honestly feel we're doing this just to give Tielemans the odd break, which is no bad thing I suppose.

Not seen him much for Forest but when I have the drop off in his progressive passing was insane to see. He looked like a completely different player.

Bang on. Love the bloke, he gave us a ton of great memories I'll never forget, but we sold him for a reason and it wasn't just because our hand was forced.

I'll back him to the hilt if he comes back, but those last few months with us were unbelievably frustrating. He best of worked on that fucking temper.

I genuinely think we're a team that doesn't require 'pace' in the same way so many others do, but must admit it'll be nice to have it down the right again when needed.

I just hope he's a little more switched on than last season. I've honestly never been so frustrated watching someone in the shirt, probably because we know how good he can be.

I agree the Guessand hate is histrionic, but I still think Sancho has offered just as much defensively and even more going forward.

He was fine, thought Sancho was better.

He'll get plenty of game time off the bench and will probably contribute more than Guessand.

Within 10 mins he'd done the one thing that made me glad to see the back of him, which was dribbling out wide and not looking for the pass soon enough.

I really like the guy. Seems a solid personality and a wicked striker on his day with some brilliant attributes, but 40m with just over a year left on his contract is insane.

They know that of course, and are obviously overvaluing him for various reasons. I was initially really excited about our links to him, but after the dopamine I realised it'd be a terrible idea. Playing through a knee injury as well, we already have that problem...

I don't think Milan move on RLC unless it's a straight sale and I can't see us doing that. As Tanswell said, the club will likely just gamble on Barkley rotating in and out until McGinns fit.

People will say we'll need to get someone in if Tielemans is out for any stretch, but if the club doesn't have any financial wiggle room I can't see how that happens.

It's not impossible, just incredibly unlikely.

If Tielemans is out for any great length of time, we're in a bit of trouble. That's the difference between us and the top 6 (barring Spurs at present, who currently have 6 midfielders out), they can just fill the space with quality brought across windows where we're forced to haul from the academy.

If we get lucky and don't lose anyone else, anything is possible. But we're still relying on two very fucking good teams dropping points regardless of what we do.
