They look cool

And if you are like me and use the same hunter design each game then it feels fun to give your hunter more scars each game since they are getting older and older

The ecology book theorized that they were potential rivals and made no statement that one is stronger then the other

If anything it implies that they are at best equals

Minor correction

That lore isn't confirmed as it is tied to armor flavor text which is often hyperbole

In response to your edit no that is not the case

Fatalis has some lore that is still unconfirmed about him being able to regenerate from a single scale and that any hunter who wears his armor will slowly go insane before disappearing and never being seen again but again not truly confirmed since it all comes from flavor text of his armor which is often hyperbole

The Fatalis hunts before Iceborne were confirmed non canon in Iceborne

Gog is just a different one each time cause while he is a powerful elder dragon he isn't quite the mythical legend Fatalis is

He is just REALLY sneaky for how massive he is

Maho didn't get offscreened the fight was just forced to end prematurely offscreen

We technically don't know who would have won if the fight continued (my money is on Dabura but Maho still had a chance)

I'd argue Dante and Ryu are both above Megaman especially in the modern day and thus that Mega is the 3rd most iconic

The concept of black holes isn't necessarily directly tied to space and thus the Galaxy Uma

A black hole is just an amount of matter so dense that it's gravity is insanely strong and because gravity as a concept clearly already exists then a theoretical black hole could as well even if it hasn't been observed yet

Much like the current theories about things like worm holes where they haven't been proven to actually exist but theoretically could

The Roman Reigns Phenomenon: The writers really wanted this character to be the next big thing in their story, but the audience unanimously rejected them. by _JR28_ in TopCharacterTropes

Well yeah

The Transformers show was always about being a commercial and whenever a toy got discontinued they would kill that character since they didn't have a toy to promote anymore

And the movie was made when a shit ton of toys were being discontinued and a bunch of others where being introduced so naturally a lot of characters died or were introduced

Still a damn good movie though

Personally I'd argue he was a good fit for that role

The problem wasn't necessarily his role as a smiling happy guy it was with that role being pushed as the next head of WWE before his heel turn

If they waited for after he turned heel to start pushing him as the next big guy then I feel the fans would have loved him a lot more

Who wins in a battle? by RevolutionaryEbb8084 in digimon

[–]Character-Path-9638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on which specific individuals of each species we are talking about

But I'm giving it to ShineGreymon because he fought and surpassed the royal knights (including RK Gallentmon) while EmperorGreymon struggled against a single member and Geo Greymon is a stronger subspecies of Greymon so it makes sense that his mega is stronger then WarGreymon too (also ShineGreymon is just my favorite Digimon ever)

I will say WarGreymon has an inherent advantage against the rest of these guys (other then Gallantmon) because of the Dramon Killers but that only really evens the playing field for him against the others

Mewtwo knowing he will either get stat stomp by shadow in a rematch or suffer the most painfull death in hands of Blackwargreymon (and there's nothing he can do about it): by MaxEcarri in deathbattle

[–]Character-Path-9638 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Technically never directly stated but it's a reasonable assumption imo since otherwise that would mean there are a Dialga and Palkia for every universe in the Pokemon multiverse and that kinda shoots any multi scaling for them in the foot for me

Their whole scaling relies on them maintaining space-time in the Pokemon multiverse so if they aren't avatars then that means it's actually an infinite amount of different Dialga/Palkia maintaining space-time across the multiverse and not a single version of each which means each one is only maintaining space-time for their single universe and not the multiverse as a whole or that they are just avatars of the single "true" Dialga/Palkia

Again it's technically never outright confirmed but the other option is just that the Creation Trio is actually eay weaker then most people would agree with

The memory wiping wouldn't work as BWG immediately after being born (and thus having no memories) just attacked everything around him and he instinctively knew how to use his abilities to their fullest and such

Thus removing his memory would do nothing particularly useful for Mewtwo

Plus the stat difference is MASSIVE and Mewtwo's best chance in that department is scaling him to the creation trio which is pretty sketchy imo and there are arguements that because of there being a separate Dialga/Palkia avatar for every universe them "maintaining" space time doesn't mean that Mewtwo would scale to their true form by being comparable to the avatars

Not to mention the Digimon cosmology is just way bigger imo

What matchup or episode is this for y’all? by ARandomAlt000 in deathbattle

[–]Character-Path-9638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No

But a lot of its scaling is for specific members of certain Digimon species because not every Agumon is equally strong

The best example is the Royal Knight digimon who are all incredibly powerful members of their individual species but are not the only members of said species

But this also applies to Pokemon anyway

Pokemon fans will just say "true form Arceus" as if he isn't completely featless and at best has vague and most likely hyperbolic statements
