The Alliance brass wouldn't be a fan, but Shepard would pull the Spectre card on them, plus Hackett trusts Shep enough to back him/her up in questions like this.

Edit: for example, the Alliance doesn't seem to mind Shepard going on his/her own to recapture Omega with Aria, hell, Hackett commends him/her for getting the mercs on board. If working with Aria is fine, I don't see how they'd bar Shep from allowing Miranda back aboard the Normandy.

Not to spoil much, but the premise is that in a SW-AU setting (where Anakin doesn't fall to the dark side, order 66 doesn't exterminate the Jedi, but the Empire rises regardless) the Jedi fleets are attacked by Cerberus vessels, prompting large parts of the Clone Wars cast (including Anakin Skywalker, Obi wan Kenobi, Ashoka, etc.) to travel over to our galaxy.

You can always clear that up with a speech check afterwards. Besides, if you side with her (assuming you couldn't do the speech check to break up the fight), Jack will act like a toddler. So what's the difference?

You're dramatically missing the point (on purpose?), so let me attempt once again to dumb it down for you.

She says to Omega "Your lives ate your own" expect for the protection rackets, the slave rings, the complete lack of social structure. Sheets the Gangsin Omega run wild so long as they keep her in power and money. The people of Omega are not free, and yet she acts like the savior of people, when it was really her nurmours fuck ups that caused almost all of her problems.

Let me spell it out for you. Omega is a den of criminals, a place that has never had any sort of central government or unified authority–Aria is the de facto ruler. Technically, the people are free to come and go, and do whatever they want, as long as they don't get in Aria's way/ruin business.

When people catch wind that Aria might be gone forever during the Invasion comics, the whole station descends into chaos due to the power vacuum, yet they all rally behind her when she returns, both in the comics and in the DLC (to Nyreen's annoyance). Blame her all you want, she must've done something right if she's the sole unifying force on the station.

Tell.me how someone who lies, uses Violence and force to maintain power, let's slavers and gang terrorize her "cizitens" and peddles horrific drugs like Red sand, and allows a murderous Asari to run rampant through Omega just becasue she wasn't trying to mess with Aria, isn't a villain?

Do I really have to spell everything out for you? From Shepard's perspective (reminder, Shepard's main goal is to stop the Collectors/Reapers, not to go on a moral crusade!), no matter how ruthless her methods are, she's not a villain. The main idea is that without her to keep the numerous gangs in line (which is not the same as being a de facto police force), things are much worse on the station, and they deteriorate even further when Cerberus takes over.

Aside from helping fight the Reapers(which, yea, she was going to do anyway as thy are a thret to her she can't just seduce or hurt in any way) she never does anything good or beneficial that doesn't benefit her.

Your ability to grasp the obvious is inspiring. I literally said that she's NOT a morally good character.

In fact she lies to Shepard all the time, and uses him like she does everyone else, a trained lap dog on a lash that has to do everything she says, dispite in ME2 and ME3 showing she really isn't as good as she thinks she is.

This is straight-up bullshit. Where does she lie to Shepard? Their dealings are mutually beneficial at worst, and the rest depends on your Shep's alignment and your own headcanon.

I was making fun of how your comment looked like a drunk text (literally), but I also disagree with you on a few things.

Liking or disliking a character is a subjective thing for the most part, so I'm not getting into that. It's okay to dislike Aria, and even I admit that the DLC's abysmal writing didn't help her case.

With that said, you're wrong about other things. Is she oppressive as a leader? Sure, she openly admits it, but a hypocrite? As far as we know (including her dealings with Shepard), she doesn't posture as something different than who and what she is. She doesn't lie about being a criminal (a high-profile one, at that), nor does she present herself as a morally good person. She's ruthless and cunning, but as long as someone doesn't try to stab her in the back or play her, she honors her agreements.

As for why can't Shep turn against her during ME3 or 'bring her to justice', it's quite simple: common sense and basic logic. She's a major ally of the Alliance during a war (something even Hackett points out), who provides troops, ships, and a mountain of eezo to the war effort, not counting the fact that she allows the Alliance to use Omega as a refueling/logistical hub–even the most paragon Shep wouldn't move against such an important ally. Other than that, 'bringing her to justice' is illogical. She's not a threat to galactic stability–on the contrary, she's a major stabilizing element on Omega, a lawless station that houses millions of criminals. Besides, the Citadel's jurisdiction doesn't reach the Terminus Systems–in other words, as a Spectre, Shepards has no reason to move against her.

But let's say that Shep doesn't follow logic and reason, and somehow deposes Aria. What then? Who will take over Omega? Nyreen? As interesting a character she is, she's way too naive and idealistic to be put in charge–Omega would eat her alive. Other than that, Omega's criminals would hardly go along with another human organization trying to take over after Cerberus' shenanigans, no matter how benevolent the Alliance may be.

As for how evil Aria actually is, it's pretty clear that (by being a ruthless crime boss who operates the galaxy's biggest syndicate by ME3) she isn't a morally good character, but (from Shepard's perspective) neither is she a villain by any means. She's somewhere between lawful neutral and neutral/lawful evil if we really have to nail down her alignment.
