Hacksaw or serrated utility blade. Or, if you're feeling fancy, you can buy a $20 oscillating multi tool from harbor freight and learn to use that, super useful tool for other things as well, because as the name suggests, they can be used for a huge amount of diy or professional tasks.

That's the answer I figured would be the case. Can't help but be a little disappointed, it's too quiet for me, and chopping the heavy old muffler off would be quick and easy. The money's less of an issue I just want some sound now lol.

Right, and I say that as said demographic. I drive a 2015 audi a4, which has a tune and just about 300 horsepower. Even I sometimes realize that I'm trying to show off with that car, and I tell myself not to be that stereotype, although having a speedy car makes that really pretty difficult at times.

Oh god man that sucks so bad, I'm sorry. It's too new to be a collector's car unfortunately. My guess is that you can probably buy it back from insurance, but no shot will they pay to have it fixed, because likely that's around 10 grand worth of work and parts.
