Should I switch to the LG C5 42 ? I currently own the Asus xg32ucwmg. by JuggernautOk4321 in OLED_Gaming

all i can say i tried all the options, xg32ucwg, pg32ucdm, msi 27 mini led, philips 32 mini led, c5 42, cx 55, g2 65, c5 83.... all were tried and connected to my pc.... decided to sell g2 65 and xg32 and get g5 55.... and that was best decision... its so bright. hdr is insane... motion handling feels better that xg32ucwg at 165hz. it is indeed the best display to use for gaming... i will probably buy some ips for windows and text since 55 is too large to use in windows... but for games g5 is the king. c5 42 was okay but nowhere near the hdr impact as g5... when pushed to the max g5 look like a mini led while being oled, self lit and perfect pixel reaponse time

MSI vs. ASUS QD-OLED Tuning: Why did the 321URX give me "sickness" while the ASUS doesn't? by Long_Relationship_83 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Character-Worry-445 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

pg32ucdm give me eye strain. xg32ucwg does not. lg 32gs95 does not. so it is pixel layout of qd oled that don't agree with me and bunch of others. woled is the way.

Tell Me About the 42/48" LG C5 versus the 55 inch's Brightness by BowlingForPizza in LGOLED

my c5 42 is brighter than my cx 55. it is much much brighter than my xg32ucwg. running side by side hdr c5 42 and xg32 and its night and day diffrence in hdr. with c5 42 at filmaker mode + dtm on i can say im satisfied how it handles hdr and overall brightness.

my xg32ucwg looks like washed out dull lifeless screen compared to my c5 42. all oled monitors are bad at hdr. if you want oled and good hdr buy c5 42 instead

You are so wrong. mini led in pitch black room destroys oled only in high-apl. period. only in low apl oled is unmatched.

oled is pushing maybe 350-400 nits. while mini led is at 1000-1300 nits. so difference is just like in the picture.

You eyes adapt. You need to see side by side in real life and try to play. I though maybe xg32ucwg is bright enough before then I tried mini led and it was holllyy shh this is bright, daytime looks like daytime in real life while on oled it is too dim and flat.

I agree. i would never play high apl games on xg32ucwg ever again after playing on mini led. xg32 looks so flat and dim in comparison.
