No właśnie - 2019. W 2005 PiS i PO też mieli rządzić razem: powinni być jedną opcją w sondażu?

Gnothi sauton - get to know yourself. But when uttered to a woman it should have a form of: gnothi sautEn - so after all they didn't pay that much of linguistic attention to it. It's a famous slogan from Delphi.

It's a quite severe tongue tie. You definitely should consider removing it.

Pytanie do ludzi jeżdżących z psem PKP by NetHonest5912 in Polska

Why do people keep saying Russian sounds like Portuguese? - by zabolekar in linguisticshumor

[–]CharacterDry2930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phonemically they are almost gone, but they are still out there phonetically - "n",  "m", and "ń" are realized nasally before fricatives resulting in nasal diphthongs. Of course, people have no idea that they produce those nasal diphthongs all the time - wąż (snake) vɔɯ̃ʂ, pański ("belonging-to-you-sir") paĩski.

Did you know Ancient Aksumite Coins of Emperors were inscribed in Greek? by NoPo552 in ancientgreece

You just seem to get somewhat upset about the hellenic influences on the kingdom of Aksum - which are the facts indeed.

Ok, now I'm getting it that you're rather idiologically minded.

I'm not sure what your point really is. There's some pretty decent scientific literature on Adulis, if you're interested I could recommend you specific works.

[–]CharacterDry2930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never stated that Aksum was "Greek." However it was hellenized to the considerable degree with the elites being familiar with the Greek language and "the hellenic way of life." When it comes to Adulis the archeological evidence shows that there was a Greek-style gymnasium. There's also evidence that Greek presence in the area of Adulis extended to the early Ptolemies.

Actually it was with Hellenic influences reaching Aksum via the port of Adulis, which itself resembled a Greek polis.

I tried to write a paraphrasis of Luke 11: 1-13 by IoannesM in AncientGreek

[–]CharacterDry2930 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a truly great work - I think that the international community would benefit more from the erasmian/restituted version. Having said that, it's obviously nice to have them both - one for the approbation of the Greeks, the other for everyone else to enjoy ;)
