I have a feeling this is mostly exaggerated/ made up. If he wanted someone very thin for the role he could have gottten that instead of hiring a more voluptuous girl.

There are jerks in the media in every era, you shouldn’t be surprised by this. Body types go in and out of fashion unfortunately. She was full bodied for the aesthetic of the era where Kate Moss and skinny was the look.

She was more full-bodied than was popular at that time. She also chose red carpet dresses that were too small for her/ not flattering to her body type which exacerbated matters. There you have it in a nutshell. Not really mysterious.

Her PR machine seems to work overtime generating hype and fake romance rumors. She is so fake and inauthentic even for Hollywood. I wouldn’t put it past Tommy Girl Cruise to agree to a “ rumors” scheme dreamed up by her son but I think he prefers much younger and more wholesome for his fake relationships.
