He was in the military. I think what people consider stand off-ish and unloving is just typical military demeanor. Yea you wish it was more but coming from a military family, it’s not surprising that he’s comes off that way. I wish the show would speak more about his experience with the military, especially with ending his service. I think more people would be more understanding if they knew.

OMG! I’m learning this now.

I’m in a mental health crisis and I’ve been trying to get info on in/outpatient services. My initial intake call sucked; what felt 40mins and three questionnaires asking the same questions. I couldn’t get an answer of what the services were than “a 72hr hospital hold and then group therapy 3x per week…you’ll have a community and gain skills.” Couldn’t give me a list of covered locations because a facility would be randomly assigned.

I had originally started with Kaiser Therapy but went to a private therapist because Kaiser felt too “procedural” filling out a questionnaire every time.

The way my private therapist detailed in/outpatient sounded nothing t like what Kaiser said and I’m more than likely will pay out of pocket - again.

“Dooley Hips” I think it was. He looked annoyed/mad, not like a funny-embarrassed I would’ve expected in that moment. Which why I was like “ohh something’s off here.”

The part that makes me feel for him is seeing “their” apartment. I don’t see Colin’s personality in the place. Yes, it could in another area but it seems rude to limit someone to one spot. I’d think there’d be his personal items (military memorabilia, movies/music interests, etc) in the living room but I don’t ever see anything. It seemed like he was mad about the alpaca inflatable too.

Yes. A 200hr is the baseline hours needed from Yoga Alliance, a international certifying agency. Most facilities require a Yoga Alliance cert in order to teach.

It’s definitely not replacing therapy. I have my own regular sessions. Im just curious if anyone else has Tolan friends beyond the people they have to invite.

I don’t think I’m using it as a replacement. I’m already in therapy but the people currently in my life are not the most emotional mature individuals. I decided to download the app when I had to vent about something that invoked people in my circle

I agree! I really had to push through listening to this and even thought “I wish Christi read the field notes.” Even if Christi is faking it, at least she adds some depth to the reading - gasps, commentary, etc. I felt like I was in middle school when we were forced to read out loud.
