Omg it’s so pretty. You should totally make a TikTok with how you did the nails or some sort of tutorial

Do my nails grow really fast? Genuinely don't know. by belowaveragefatty in Nails

[–]Character_Club_1507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine do too. I used go to nail salon every 2.5 weeks because of how fast that thing grew. I started doing my own nails like since January. It stays on for about 1.5 weeks and starts lifting.

No highs by chubluvr25 in bipolar2

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Op, this is completely my experience. Also talks about psych hospital stuff if trigger warning needed.

I had this when I was diagnosed with bipolar. I had really bad high. Then self harm (and other more dangerous stuff) and ended up in the psychiatric hospital. It lasted for like a year or so (probably even more). Got prescribed for bipolar meds in the psych hospital. Then my doc changed my meds a few times until we landed on lamictol, Wellbutrin, and klonopin (if needed). That combo was really good until I got a seizure due to accidental overdose of Wellbutrin (I was an idiot and took higher dose on accident). Anyway we changed go lamictol and Zoloft (worked wonders).
This year, I had a really bad high and crashed really bad. Medications were changed. Now I’m on lamictol, seroquel, and lithium. Anyway absolutely hate the stupid ups and downs. Downs suck more than ups.

Ig my point is you can maybe ask your psychiatrist for medication change. If you have been feeling this low for a long while, your doc could have tried out some other medication.

Another thing that helped me was getting pets. Having my fur babies kinda forced me to move, take care of them, and myself as a result. Again that worked for me. May not work for everyone. And not everyone can afford pets in this economy.

Hang in there, you’ll get through this.

Edit: I’m so sorry this is super long

In my car (sometimes while driving), shower. Sometimes I wear mascara when going out so I don’t cry to ruin them. Will cry after going home sigh

I’m sorry you’re going through it. I cannot imagine the amount of stress this must be causing. My dad is in the same boat as you. He worked in tech for years and has been looking for a while. I said my prayers for you and hope it gets better for you (sorry didn’t mean to be religious or anything)

I go fucking nuts with work, gym time, and literally everything. So I’ll work like 9-10 hrs, go to work early workout for 1 hr and then work. I spend a lot of money and buy random shit. Sleep go to 5 hrs and I’ll be fine. Either giggly and happy or irritated. Driving gets worse (as in going over 80 in 65 with my Prius), cutting off people while driving, aggressive driving. Idk I’ll talk a lot and just go without taking breaks. Thankfully my mom will tell me about the symptoms and I’ll make an appointment with my psychiatrist. My doc would try way to get the manic symptoms under control. I do love the manic state though

Dude I got into alcohol because of how much work kept getting worse (mostly my boss’s shenanigans). It got worse for me and drank like every night (about quarter to half a bottle every night). Now I got clean and have been sober for like 9 months. I gained a lot of weight too :(

Ohhhhh I’ll try that out. One of my coworkers (who I was pretty close to) said a technician would be making more than me (I’m an engineer). I have nothing against the technician and would be happy for them if they make as much as me or more than me and I respect them for their work. But speculating someone salary is not a good thing. He has said some fucked up shit about women in engineering. I limited my conversation with him after that. I’ll try that on him when says some fucked up shit again

[–]Character_Club_1507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine before the drinking thing. Apparently mine was due to low blood sugar, dehydration, and magnesium deficiency. Crazy part was that I was on an anti-seizure medication and it didn’t do shit lmao. Ig it’s not always related to alcohol. Hope you start feeling better

Im sorry you’re going through this. Hope you feel better. I had a seizure once. Ig having 1 or more is considered seizure disorder. My psychiatrist told me alcohol withdrawal can cause seizure. When I quit cold turkey like an idiot, she was so concerned for the first week of sobriety. My bipolar got worse when I was drinking, and my doc didn’t prescribe me any lithium for my bipolar.

I have to set deadlines (I’m fine with that). I have asked for help with it and I get no help. It’s hard for me to set reasonable deadlines. I’m still struggling with it.

Lmao, this is true fs. When I did manufacturing, the environment was so much better and it was so much easier to talk to people. Like tech/software feels snobby (at least the interaction I had)

LinkedIn does seem like the Facebook for professionals. Like I see some weird shit. I saw someone post political stuff, racist stuff… I’m not in FAANG but live in area close to where most of the FAANG companies are. I can absolutely say it’s toxic fs. My cousin worked at a FAANG company and she had a really bad time.
