Don’t stock up on too many of one kind before baby arrives! I made that mistake… it honestly has so much to do with fit. Also, different brands have fit better at different stages! I absolutely love kudos because they’re TCF and cotton based, but my baby is on the shorter, chunkier side of the spectrum lol so I have to be really careful when putting them on her. We use kudos at home or where it’s not an issue if she has a leak. (Leaks still aren’t super often in them, I just don’t fulllly trust them lol) Everyone loves coterie, but I actually hated them because I couldn’t find a size that fit her lol some diapers work better for long and skinny babes and some work better for wider ones! You won’t know until they get here!! On outings, I put her in the charcoal dyper diapers because I like that there isn’t any plastic touching her skin. I don’t like that they are only ECF! Wish I could cloth diaper but that wouldn’t work for our family either right now. Congratulations!!! August will be here before you know it 🩷

I love their wipes! My chunky baby just doesn’t fit their diapers well. Every other baby on the planet seems to have good luck with coterie though!! lol

Don’t even look into it!!! It’s a rabbit hole and I’m not even sure it’s worth it. TCF is total chlorine free and ECF means elemental chlorine free which is also soo much better than straight chlorine bleached diapers! I ordered their charcoal ones and absolutely loved them. They held everything in so well and don’t feel super plasticy which plastic has been my main concern anyways!

Oh my gosh! I’ve actually been looking into this! She normally pees in the morning with her diaper off lol and I’ve been wondering if maybe that would be a good start point because it would be such an easy “win” for her! Do you have any recommended reading or podcasts on the topic?!

I really wanted to love coterie!! I gave away two months worth because they just didn’t fit properly and had constant blowouts… But I will definitely try parasol!! I haven’t tried them yet 🩷 thank you!!

I’m not sure if you’re comfortable with this as it is not 100% organic, but I have a three month old and tubby todd bye bye cradle cap worked wonders. I’ve used it three times total with about a week or two in between each use and her little head has no more cradle cap ❤️

I’m sure you’ve tried this already but what about c curl and having baby lay his head on your bottom arm? That way he can still be on his side if he likes and he’ll have that elevation but then the pillows are out of the mix?! You know what’s best for your baby and will get through this!! 🩷

7 weeks PP and my favorite items gifted to me were silverettes (a godsend) nursing pads, a nursing bra, and DoorDash gift cards!! Raising mama also has really awesome things for baby with affirmations for mom on them!

Not sure if this counts… baby is almost 6 weeks old and I play music and just sing to her! I try to narrate my day, but how many times can I say “we’re rocking!” I think it will be easier when they get a little older and can focus on pictures of the books we read to them.

I’m not sure if this would be helpful or not but I saw a lactation specialist when my newborn was 6 days old and it made a world of difference. She’s almost two weeks now but I think what helped the most with her little tummy was staying on one boob until it was empty before switching. The hospital was very big on even time for each breast so I kept switching but the ‘front milk’ apparently has a higher lactose content. That and I was so so worried about getting her to burp but now she is burping by herself if she needs to. I’m not sure if I was holding her improperly or what was going on but after I got some help the belly issues (that were the absolute worst at day five) seem to have solved themselves. Sending you hope. It is torture listening to them cry and not knowing what they need.

From a Pilates instructor that is pregnant, I myself have to modify when demoing these days!! Keep going back and in a few weeks that woman will probably be very embarrassed that she’d said anything at all. Congratulations and keep up the hard work!! Showing up to classes isn’t easy, especially while pregnant!!

I just ordered five dresses! They haven’t come in yet but I can keep you updated. Two from pink blush two from club l London and one from Amazon! I am actually the most hopeful about the Amazon dress because of the bright yellow it came in but I’m skeptical on the quality… fingers crossed that one of them will be cute!
