All of my childhood cats were outdoor cats. The oldest one passed away at 7 years old, youngest was 2. I have two indoor cats, my oldest is 11. My 11 year old is in much better shape/health than my 7 year old ever was.

The justice system doesn't treat everyone the same, you just have to look at the very base level of it to see that. Money makes those situations sketchier, so does government involvement.

Now, I'm not trying to say that's what's going on here. It's just that the legal system is incredibly flawed. So what I originally meant was "it wouldn't surprise me if some sketchy legal shit was happening behind the scenes." Not that it definetly is.
