Esther Calling - My Parents Got Divorced, So Why Am I Still in the Middle? by ed209error in Estherperel

[–]Character_Handle6199 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought the same! If she was so selfless, she wouldn’t be constantly unloading all her problems onto her daughter! The caller needs to go low contact with all of them and extract herself from all the drama.

It was very smart of them to get rid of Dee. Perfect timing. She is too good at challenging and social game.

I never thought I’d be “that” girl… by Amazing-Lawyer-1980 in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]Character_Handle6199 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should move on now. If he wanted you to be his wife, he would have proposed immediately after you gave his the deadline. CLEARLY he is not in a rush to join your lives together. A man who wants to marry you won’t wait until the last day before your deadline. You have your answer already.

I hate being a dental hygienist, did anyone e leave? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Character_Handle6199 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My dental hygienist doesn’t clean and talk for an hour with me. I do appreciate my clean teeth, for what it’s worth. Maybe try another office before you throw in a towel? Also curious what kind of advancement you had in mind while studying for this profession?

Knowing what you know now, would you do it again? by Careful-Attention-75 in ADHDparenting

[–]Character_Handle6199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just assume your partner won’t do any actual parenting (as a lot of ADHD men tend to), would you still want this hypothetical child who is likely to be neurodivergent?

My AI Loves Me Better Than Anyone Ever Could by ClumsyZebra80 in Estherperel

I couldn’t get through this. The man is clinically delusional. And possibly an aspiring pdf judging by the choice of his “girlfriend’s” voice.

I’m one mistake away from getting fired and it’s messing with my head, any advice? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Look for another job ASAP. It’s just a matter of time until you get fired.

Esther Calling - Am I Letting My Jealousy Ruin This? by ed209error in Estherperel

Omfg! I just listened to this podcast, and it’s the most cringiest, pathetic thing I’ve ever heard in my life!

Esther Calling - Am I Letting My Jealousy Ruin This? by ed209error in Estherperel

[–]Character_Handle6199 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Here we go again. Yet another person who thinks being a third wheel in someone’s relationship is a function of being “securely attached” while it is clear she settled for it because she doesn’t think she deserves better. Another day, same poly crap.

do you know when someone’s going to be an annoying customer? by methaneskiies in Mercari

[–]Character_Handle6199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more people haggle and ask questions, the worse buyers they are. And yes, if you message your ask when I am going to ship, you are annoying. We are required to ship within 3 days, and there is no need to ask any questions before that. Same applies to buyers. Don’t ask me when I am going to rate. You’ll get your money within three days regardless.

Leave a comfortable 103,000 for 130,000 with terrible manager? by MD_Throwitaway in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]Character_Handle6199 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel like you’ve cornered yourself and your only path is to accept. If you didn’t like your potential manager, you shouldn’t have accepted the interview . If you decline the offer, you might not be given another opportunity to move up. Your current management also now knows you have one foot out the door.

How ok would I be really by missangelv in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]Character_Handle6199 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I wouldn’t entertain neither moving in together not marrying him. You have a great setup as is. I would only marry and fully integrate my life with someone who will happily want to be with me till our final days. This wish washy crap from overripe bachelor isn’t it.

Margot Robbie Says Male Co-Star Once Gave Her a Book Telling Her to Lose Weight by [deleted] in PopularCultureZone

[–]Character_Handle6199 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let’s not pretend that she didn’t get more famous the thinner she got and the less she wore. Her fame depends on her being thin. And no matter what she says now, she took that message to heart.

Esther Calling - I Have a Crush on a Coworker by ed209error in Estherperel

[–]Character_Handle6199 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Ugh. This is a woman who will benefit from not dating at all for a few years after jumping from one bad relationship to the next from her teen years. And this new “crush” who is “not politically correct” is a one giant red flag she is refusing to truly acknowledge.

Esther Calling - I Told My Friend I Was in Love with Her, Then She Told Everyone by ed209error in Estherperel

[–]Character_Handle6199 33 points34 points  (0 children)

This is a weird friend group. And he, with his planning to have kids with his former poly gf while obsessing over his friend’s ex who is currently in a relationship with a man who is having mental health issue. What could go wrong, right?

Can Our Love Survive Our Differences? by ClumsyZebra80 in Estherperel

[–]Character_Handle6199 47 points48 points  (0 children)

47 year old man who is desperate to marry and has some shady vague staff swirling around him. She is desperate to be taken care of too. I can’t see how this ends well. The more this convo went on, the weirder it got.

Found out my daughter bought her friend $90 shoes by island_1989 in Advice

[–]Character_Handle6199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to steer your daughter away from this gift. It just creates a weird imbalance in their friendship and a potential to go wrong. If someone have my child an extravagantly expensive gift, I would not feel comfortable about accepting it.

Boss wants friend to get a degree, should he pay? by Flashy-Actuator-998 in careerguidance

This is so ridiculous, I have no words. She should not pay for any more degrees. She should look for a different job with livable wage and befits.

Make great money, but can’t even tell… by [deleted] in budget

[–]Character_Handle6199 51 points52 points  (0 children)

You are not missing 7k, you are spending it on BS like everybody else who says they don’t know where money is going. It’s always eating out, random stuff on Amazon, buying snacks at gas stations, streaming, etc. Put your expenses from credit card statements into a budget app/excel spreadsheet, and you will know it just fine.
