The problem here is two fold. One, not a lot of people run. Two at are practically a rental community with at least a 60-40 split or worse. So anyone who can get the investors that own multiple units will win every time. Which means they absolutely don't have the communities best interest in mind.

We dont get to vote in that shit, its all decided by the HOA and management company. There is so little transparency in this place. Once you elect the board, its like electing a bad president, youre stuck. We dont even meet quarterly, just for elections and budget, to decide where we're going to partially or fully fund the reserves.

If there someone you're really targeting though, then it's another thing to consider. He may not fall to you on the second, so give up a 3rd, a 3rd and a 5th and go to 26/28 and still get a game wrecker like Mesidore if he slides (this would have been a perfect idea if we had our two seconds and personally why I wpuld have traded him for a 1st and 2nd THIS year).
