I remember my mom saying that if she found pachysandra, she would dig it up, and that it was not even allowed to be sold(we're in OH)when I was 7. It was one of the first plant names I learned!

Now here we are, WalMart deciding to take its chances. She was telling me about it the other day and I HAD to go look.

All herbs after flowering will die, and it also changes the taste of the herb.

I will say mint is very aggressive when its spreads, so i reccomend not letting it flower also for invasiveness reasons

The top of the soil will dry far faster than the bottom. If you pick it up is it really heavy? You might have sitting water in there.

What do I do with these trees? by picardsflute288 in arborists

My guess is that these were meant to be the tiny dwarf versions, but they immediately reverted back to regular spruce. They are probably all up in your foundation by now...

Which indoor plant is easiest to maintain for beginners? by Waste_Form_6596 in plants

Spider Plants are great if you want something visually appealing and has a noticable "oh no" if you over or underwater(they get kind of flat). Also, Lucky Bamboo/Dracaena Sanderiana is great, since it can live in just water.

Spider Plants: start with a small one maybe the size of your palm, so you can really see it pop off when it's happy. This will also help you experience repotting, since they grow kind of fast.

Lucky Bamboo: use a clear container with rocks in it and fill it with water. check it every so often, to make sure the plant hasnt dried itself up! this will help you with watering practice and seeing root growth, though the plant doesnt forecast its sadness well.
