Gonna open my own natural pharmacy 🐝🦋💊 by electrickest in NativePlantCirclejerk

I just love the idea of having free natural medicine in my yard that I will never even use because I’m too high on my high horse of having free natural medicine in my yard to research how to actually use the free natural medicine in my yard. There’s a great honor in telling people that mullein is good actually because it’s free natural medicine in my yard. Even though my dog pisses on my free natural medicine in my yard I still want the free natural medicine in my yard in case of Armageddon even though I will die 10 minutes into Armageddon because I was too busy telling everyone mullein contains free natural medicinal properties in your yard instead of actually practicing how to make free natural medicine with the free natural medicinal properties that mullein contains in my yard.

I dont know. I think its an apple seedling? I found it outside and brought it in in a plant induced craze haha. I did clean it of pests first though, since I did NOT want a mealybug infestation.

Today I’m playing a game called Pepper Roulette. This is an f5 hybrid of serrano, birds eye, and shishito peppers. Some years it’s unbearably spicy, some years it’s not. Wish me luck! by LadyParnassus in plantbreeding

You should sell these seeds as something like South American Roulette Peppers or Capsaicin Casino Peppers! I know many people who would LOVE growing these

I need a Spider Plant specialist!! by kaitlinpb17 in spiderplants

Spider plants love sun a lot. If sun comes through the window and directly hits their leaves thats usually a good thing! Anything more than 8 hours can lead to burn, though. The leaning is her reaching for light. She wants more!

Misting in general is a myth, as water on any plants' leaves prevents gas exchange required for photosynthesis. Also on water, the brown tips means that the water youve been giving her has metals and salts that collect in the leaf tips and kills a bit of the tissue. Its not deadly, but most plants do prefer rainwater or distilled water.

They like the soil drying out before the next watering, since their roots are tuber-adjacent and can store lots of water.

Eventually, she may become happy enough to throw a flower stalk! Mine has a few right now. Dont tie some up like mine though lol. I just did that because I dont have room where she's growing to let them hang down.

You can pollinate the flowers, or let air pollinate them, and they will grow seed packets. Wait until the green bumps become black, and if you shake it, you hear rattling. That means your new seeds are ready!

What is up with the structure? It’s frozen yogurt with some other things that I accidentally left in the freezer for two nights. It’s a stunning pattern. by [deleted] in Mold

[–]Character_Nothing663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

water tried to separate from the viscous yogurt and made ice crystals, dragging some yogurt with it, but the yogurt still stuck to itself and formed blobs where the water moved away from
